Good morning, and thank you for the welcome.

I am feeling pretty good today so far, gonna try to run a couple of errands if I can.  My kids are both at daycare so I have the house to myself to try to rest up.  working on managing my fluids and protein today, still trying to figure out some sort of routine.

Question:  am almost 3 weeks out from surgery and still having occasional pain in my left side and tenderness in my abdomen around my belly button.  nothing really bad, just tender and pinches sometimes.  do you think this is still withing the relm of normal?

I think it is normal, but if you are uncertain you may want to call your doctor's office and ask.  I couldn't sleep on my left side for weeks, and had the pinching pain at the incision site above my belly button.  The nurse said it was because that was where the stapler used during my surgery went in.  Every one is different, so to be sure call and check with your surgeon's office.
