Happy Monday

Good Monday morning all.

So glad to see Sherri's post that Brenda is improving.  She has been on my mind since I heard the news.  I plan on going by the hospital tonight after work to see her.  She is such a sweetheart.

Other than that it's back to the normal routine now that the holidays are over.  Got all the Christmas stuff put away and the house back to normal again.  Ready for another year and I know this one will fly by just like 2008 did for me.  I'm hoping to pick up some OT to help with the Christmas bills and other expenses that show up the first of the year.

Good Monday Morning everyone.  I have to work today but not until 9 so I can actually post today.  Today is my Friday, I am off the next two days.  I have been working on my sewing room getting it organized and rearranged.  I am almost done but wanted to buy a few more plastic totes.  My hubby didn't like that idea since he has given me the name "princess of plastic" for buying so many totoes lol.  Well, he has to go back to work today after five days off so while he is gone I intend to go get my totes in peace and my room will be done and  organized. 

I got all my Xmas decor boxed up (in plastic totes of course lol).  Hubby and our son got it all back where it is stored until next year.  It always feels good to get that done becasue I normally take down everything and box it up and put out a ton of xmas stuff then rearrange all my things when I get them back out so everyting looks different and I can purge some things I am not so crazy about any more or things that just no longer seem to fit in.  

Thats about it for me, oh one more thing my son is off school  today and deoesn't return until Tuesday, anyone else?  Seems kind of weird and I don't remember this happening last year but maybe it did.

My daughter was off school today too... Something about letting the teachers have a day to prepare for them all coming back...
Sounds like your sewing room is really coming together the way you want.  I am new to sewing. I wanted to learn to quilt and have a new machine. But don't quite know where to start.

Hello all! How are you doing today? Today is the first day back to school for the kids here in Terre Haute and Vigo County. Maggie's excited, Mikey's not, as usual. Mike has work today for the first time in two weeks too, so that's good. I am at my usual gig today.

Not too much else to report. I hope you all have a good day. Post to us on Brenda's updates!

I was hoping school here was in session today heh.. I have to drag 3 kiddos along with me to Indy for my dental appointment instead of the 2 lil ones (who behave well when the oldest isn't around because hes an instigator).

So I've got a therapy appointment and then I'm off to Indy to meet Dani for lunch and pick out my teeth (we have to find the perfect shape, size etc for my face).. Isn't that kewl? LOL

Anyways I don't have much more than that happening.

I am sorry you have to take all those kids with you to your appointments.  I know that is added stress you do not need. 
I am excited for you about your teeth. That will be a big change for you.

Good morning all!

I have a million things to do today.  I am excited about most of it.  I hope all of you had a good weekend.  Mine was good for the most part.  I plan to apply for that position I have been wanting today.  So, I hope they call me in for an interview in the next few days.  I really want this job.  It would be great for me.

I have put together an interview suit but if they wait a couple weeks to call me in, it won't fit too well.  LOL  It's a great problem to have. 

Marc rescued a new kitten that was born in Lowe's lumber yard by a stray.  Kelli was thrilled... me, not so much.  But it's ok.  Im a dog person more so.  But she is cute just annoying at times.  She has walked across my computer keyboard 3 times while I have been typing this morning.  LOL

Congrats on the kitty. I love dogs too, but cats can hold a different place in our hearts too. I have a cat too. My sweet Talya, a ragdoll cat.  We also have a cat that we rescued that is just so sweet and gorgeous. But she can't be around the dogs.  She is so scared of them. She is part ragdoll and something else. She is declawed on all her feet so she can't be an outside cat. We have been trying to find her a new home but no luck so far.  Its so sad because she is a doll.  But we have 4 dogs and she just can't get used to the dogs. She would be a great pet for someone to have as an only pet.  
I will be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way on the job!!

Good Monday morning everyone. I was up bright and early to put Joshua on the bus this morning, then fell back asleep. So much for being productive after he leaves for school! Oh well. A good friend from work is coming to visit today, which is probably good because Gary took both sets of keys with him to work. I didn't have any plans, but it stinks to know I can't go anywhere if I wanted to.

Gotta work on getting Joshua's birthday party planned, he's gonna be 9 next week. And gotta keep working on my fluid/food intake balance. Seem to get one but not the other in.
