Thanks I will check out the yogurt. I bought some yogurt but have been afraid to try it because it has quite a bit of sugar listed.

Melissa,

Check the labels at the store. There are sugar-free yogurts. I get the Activia so I'm getting a little bit of digestion aid along with it.

BTW...good call of the caffiene. At St. V's, we were told not to have any caffiene. Period. Caffiene, when early post-op, can (and WILL!!) cause stomach ulcers. Besides that, caffiene at any stage is:
1. A food stimulant (it will increase your appetite!!)
2. Dehydrates you. I was told to drink 2 ounces of water for each ounce of caffiene containing drink..that is in ADDITION to the 64 oz of water you are already suppose to be drinking.

I don't know why they don't make these java protein drinks with decaf coffee instead!?!

When you get that Nectar, you may want to experiment with the different Crystal Lights. I mixed it with the Sunshine orange to tone down the peach a little bit.

There is also non-flavor whey powder that you can add to other foods to kinda try to sneak in a little extra protein. I mix some chocolate protein powder in with my melted sf chocolate when I make sf rice crispie treats. I would try adding just a little at a time until you find out just how much you can add without it affecting the taste or texture much.

Ya gotta do what you gotta do... I sipped milk and ate string cheese until I was blue in the face but I got my protien and liquids in... It is better than just not drinking the protien..

Melissa:
I have already tried a ton of different protein drinks and so far my fav is Isopure from GNC.  I like the peach/mango flavor and the grape the best so far.  My thing is variety, I don't like having the same thing time after time, so I have a few different things that are working for me.  Don't know if you have GNC near you but they are currently having a sale on all protein supplements (buy one get one 1/2 off)
