pureed foods ideas
There's not a whole lot we can do other than use the foods on the yellow sheets. However, I plan to make egg salad or chicken salad (hate tuna) using my food processor, and FF Miracle Whip. I don't think pureed meat will taste too good, so I plan to make salads like this. I could use pork if I can find some SF BBQ sauce and have a little barbecue. Could always throw in a water chestnut or two for a tiny crunch in the egg, ham, or chicken salad. Just can't have bread or crackers with it!
I'm just looking forward to having some new foods and a scrambled egg for breakfast. I don't plan to put my scrambled egg in the food processor though! I'll just ma**** up real fine. It's soft, so should be easy.
Look out on that 9th week! I am so looking forward to chewing!
I bet the nut can give us recipe ideas. I see the doc on the 8th and the nut an hour later. When do you go?

I am not familiar with the yellow sheet, I had surgery at St Francis. However during the pureed stage I ate a lot of FF refried beans with a lil cheese melted on top. Also, cottage cheese with a lil low sugar spaghetti sauce warmed in the microwave(tastes like a lasagna filling). I hated cottage cheese before surgery but this tasted like a treat post op. If you have a Krogers, their carb masters yogurt is really good. We were allowed to have mashed potatoes so I made them with chicken broth that was my fav.
You can use and ice cube tray to freeze your leftover foods, since you are eating so little right now. After it is frozen pop it out and put it in baggies, it will measure once ounce. I even froze my leftover refried beans.

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!
