100 pounds gone forever!

It's definitley nice not to make a New Year's resolution to lose weight.  I never keep my resolutions anyway (ususally never even start) so this year I didn't even make any....although I should make one to exercise more.  When the weather was nice I didn't have any trouble at all and now that it's so darn cold and yucky outside I'm having touble getting enough exercise.

Thanks Jacqui!

Way to go Melissa!  That is great to hear!! Losing 101lbs!  That is an achievement in itself.  Hope you are feeling the rewards of losing that much so far.
Blessings to you all, Leah

Yep, I can definitley feel the rewards but it's often hard for me to see the rewards.  I can tell I've lost weight, but not 100 pounds worth.  I often still see myself as I saw myself before surgery.  I know this is normal for the most part, so I don't stress about it.  I think when I've lost enough of my belly to be really comfortable in jeans I will start to "see" the rewards too.  I can fit in jeans now (something I haven't been able to say for YEARS) but I'm not completely comfortable in them yet.

Looks like you are doing a great job too!  Keep up the good work!

It is definitely nice to be able to say that now.  Congrats on your 200!!  That is a big accomplishment!  Don't let your friend rain on your parade.  You worked hard to lose those 200 lbs and your sassy reply was just what they deserved!!

I'm looking forward to seeing you at the clothing exchange too!

Thanks Lisa!

Wow, looking at Brittany is a good visual.  That makes is seem so surreal.  I treated myself a little bit yesterday.  We went on a date with friends for the first time since my surgery.  We went to a restaurant and I had the best grilled chicken...YUM!

Thanks Ellen!

Congratulations Lisa!
Isnt it such a great feeling to have lost that much.  A person just has so much more energy.  Keep up the good work.  You will soon be at goal.

Thanks Jenny!  I hope I make it to goal...I still have a long way to go and the weight loss has slowed quite a bit for me.  I definitely have more energy - at least now I can keep up with my kids whereas before there was no way!
