Can I drink this? It has sucrose syrup listed. I haven't dumped yet and don't want to start now.

Can you give me more info....grams of sugar per serving?  Calories?  Its not a huge deal if you are drinking calories since you are so early out and having such a hard time getting your water in.  However, I am sure your nut will tell you no liquid calories as you get a lil further out. May as well get in the habit of doing what you need to do now instead of a month from now really.  I would suggest Powerade Zero its pretty good and calorie free.

I can't recall for sure, but it seems that I remember them saying something about this during pre op class.  I would think it would be dependent on the amount of sugar grams.

Melissa, I looked this up in our book - if the sucrose is listed as one of the first 5 ingredients, it's a no go.

Hi Melissa!

Propel made me a little nauseated at your stage, but now I drink it a lot. You might want to wait a little longer before drinking it. Try lemon Dasani or one of the other no calorie flavored waters.   I drink those a lot, I get tired of plain old water.

Good luck!

I have drank it since I got home from the hospital and the dietician said there was not a problem with it at all. I love the peach.....

Hugs,

I cn't remember when I started drinking propel water. I like the berry and kiwi-strawberry. I don't like the grape and have not been brave enough to try the lemon. I try to limit myself to one 16 oz a day since it does have some calories in it. I am now about 18 months out and at my goal. I was told to watch the 5 and 5 rule . 5 grams sugar and 5 grams of fat. I try not to venture over those numbers but have and only have problems when I get over 10 or 10. I get a bad belly ache or even get nauseated.
