Good morning to all.  I didn’t have time until today to get on and catch up with what’s going on with everyone.  I am amazed to see so much sorrow, trials, medical issues, and other life issues that everyone has and is dealing with in the past week.  What doesn’t surprise me is the abundance of prayers, support, guidance, friendship and love that comes from all the members of this board for each other.  Especially the love.  I’ve not met many of you yet when I’ve posted received such marvelous responses.  I truly treasure all of you.   May God’s blessings fill your cups to overflowing with peace in your hearts, mind and spirit, healing for body and soul, solutions to economic problems, and joy to all areas of your lives.

My son is on duty tonight so my DIL, granddaughter and I will be spending the evening with friends to bring in the New Year.  2008 was such a fast busy year; I’m hoping 2009 will slow down a bit.  But, the older I get the faster time goes.  I will probably spend the weekend taking the tree down and getting the house back to normal and getting caught up on my reading.  I have several good books I’m anxious to get in to.

Everyone have a wonderful day, if you are on the roads tonight, be safe.

Good morning all!

I look forward to tonight.  The girls are both coming over with the hubbies.  I am really feeling pretty blessed that they think it's cool to hang out with Mom and Stepdad.  Most young 20"s will be out partying at bars and such.  Mine will be here safe with me and I couldn't be happier.

It's snowing and blowing and I hate to go out this morning but I have to get to Wally World before it gets crazy.  (Can't wait for Meijer to open in March!)  So, I am gonna fill my day by planning foods that are bariatric friendly and munchables that I won't be tempted with.

I just want to say 2008 was filled with so many ups and downs but I focus on what it brought good to my life... my surgery, my marriage, my two new son-in-laws, and my OH family.  I am truly blessed.

Happiest of New Years 2009!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Good morning everyone. It's been a bumpy year for the Hess family but we are ending it on a great note. I so look forward to next year's adventures and the changes that are to come. I spent last evening pampering myself (thanks to a gift card from the hubby) with a pedicure. It was fabulous and I felt so refreshed afterwards. Zachary blessed me this morning by waking up at 6:30, so unusual for my kid who usually sleeps until at least 8. I'm tired, but we'll get through. Wishing everyone a very safe and happy new year!!
