Well Monday they did my biopsy and i got my results today.
I havecomplex atypical endrometrial hyperplasia she said there where precancerous cells but no cancer i dont understand it ,but im happy about it.
So Monday we talk about getting a hysterectomy...
I love my new life and am enjoying it so much ,i hated the bleeding all the time and being so tired from losing so much blood.
She suggested a d& c and an ablasion, have any of you had this done?
But she said we would talk all about it.

Lisa, I have had that exact surgery.  It was awesome.  I was feeling better the next day!  After going through all that bleeding you will be amazed and the pain and recovery was nothing!!!  I think you would do great with it.  If you want any specific questions answered message me.  I am glad you go good news!

As for Mark, Thank God for his miracles!  I hope Mark and his Dad get reunited and things work out well for him.  I will keep him in my prayers.

Thanks for all the good news!

Huge Hugs,
Tracy

I had a hysterectomey at 28.  It was the best day of my life.

If you are done having babies that whole mess is like snow after Christmas, it don't mean a thing.

I am with Annette on this one!  I had a hysterectomy at 27.  Already had my two babies, so it was something I could do without!  Wow - what a relief!!!

I also had atypical endometrial hyperplasia with precancerous cells a couple years ago. I had to have my endometrial biopsy re done every 3 months after having a D&C with hysteroscopy.

Hi,
I had a hysterectomy at 23, after several years of bleeding, cysts, etc. My daughter just went thru the same thing you have & ended up having 2 surgeries-= the first to do the ablasion- they got in there & said-" no good- she's filled up with endrometreotis". They closed her up & 2 weeks later did a complete hysterectomy. If it were ME, I'd go with the hysterectomy. I don't regret mine in the least. Plus, think of all the $$ you save on tampons!
I am praying for you & Mark. Be blessed!

Lisa,

I've not had either surgery but my OB has tried to talk me into the ablasion.  I do know of 4 women who've had the ablasion and NONE of would have it again.  They all wish for the hysterectomy.  It provided a couple of months of relief and then they were right back to the bleeding, clotting, etc.

Personally, I'd love a hysterectomy because of the same issues you're having but I'm only 38 and all three OB's I've been to won't do it because I don't have children and am still of childbearing age.  What BS!  Just take it all out so I can be period free! LOL

I had the ablasion and d&c about 6 years ago and did great.  I was feeling better the next day.  I had it done on a Friday and was back to work on Monday.  I haven't had any problems since then either.  Normal flow...actually a lot lighter than some may consider normal.  But I'm sure your doctor will discuss what's best for you.  You may need the hysterectomy, but just know that the other (less invasive option) is a good one too!  Good luck!
