Tomorrow at 8am I will be at Luthern hospital  for surgery....I hope I don't over sleep.   I have been waiting for this for so long--I feel like I am in a dream.  Please say a prayer for my surgeon, Dr. Dale Sloan, such a sweet man.  He is doing this on a holiday so I don't have to pay my deductable again..... Thank you all for all of your questions and answers as I have read them all and learned from them....I will see you on the other side---the losing side...Paula C.

Hey Paula,

It's real!  And good luck...I'll say a prayer for your smooth recovery.  That Dr of yours deserves a special prayer just for being a great human being and so considerate of your deductible....

Don't forget that it's YOUR turn to ask questions...There's a number of newbies like myself who will be all to familiar with what you're feeling :-)

Get moving ASAP and you'll feel better quicker....and follow your Dr's plan to the number...

Hugs...Michelle

Good luck Paula!  You'll be starting 2009 from the best seat in the house - the loser's bench!

Walk as much as possible afterward - you will feel better!

Good luck Paula. I am 2 weeks out tomorrow and it's been rough, but I wouldn't change a thing. I love Dr. Sloan and it doesn't surprise me that he was willing to operate on a holiday to help you out! Check in here and ask all your questions. Several of us are newly post op and can totally relate to everything you will be feeling and experiencing. My one advice, drink like there's no tomorrow so you don't get dehydrated!

Paula,

Congratulations on starting your new journey.  There's plenty of room for you here on the bench.  Follow your surgeon's guidelines and come here to let everyone know how your doing.
Blessings to you,

Christina
