Had a WOW moment today!!

  I have been running out of jeans to wear. I was wearing size 24 before surgery and those are falling off me now.  I moved on to the 22's I still had. They were really starting to bag so much in the legs and rear that it just looked really sloppy to wear.  But I was not going to run out and buy some new jeans for only a size or two. I went to Goodwill in Seymour.  I was looking for a size 20 to try on. I couldn't find any jeans in that size.  I did find one pair in size 18. I thought what the heck.  I haven't tried on any clothes other than what I already have in my closet since surgery.  The 18's fit and are a little loose actually. I got them anyway.  They look much better than the ones I have been wearing. So Happy, So Happy, So Happy!! I am trying to remember when I wore this size last.  Memory fails me but I am sure its been 18 yrs atleast! 
I finally made myself get to the hospital to get my first labs done since my surgery 12 weeks ago. I have been dreading doing that.  Not sure why but I have been.  I know my blood sugar/A1C will be normal and that alone is a miracle and a blessing.  My last A1C was not good, but that was before the RNY. So I am anxious to see where I am at on that number.

So happy for you Leah!  Can't wait till I can get in an 18 again!  I was able to get into size 22 jeans this morning though!  18's though - can't wait!

Leah, that's so exciting! Good for you! I got into a 22 that was a bit big and I was thrilled. Keep going girl!

Wow Leah...that is sooo awesome..girl look at you...with your sexy self. I know what you mean about the pants thing...I need to go shopping over the New Years Day holiday and grab me some different sizes. Mine are also starting to look sloppy in the front, and I dont like that. I will update you on what size I am down to once I go shopping. You are doing wonderful Leah!! I am proud of ya

Why to go Leah can't wait to see you next month. You are doing such a great job. I remember all my Wow moments.  I will be going for my 4 year check up in Feb. I always look forward to it. I like see Dr. Lindsay and the staff.  I can't believe it has been 4 years it has just flew by. Again great job on your Wow moment.
