do you have to get your Dr's. permission to move on to the pureed foods phase?

for me, they gave us a schedule to advance our diet.  It was in our surgical class.  We didn't have to actually clear it with them to advance.  We just had to follow the "plan".

Hope that answers your question.

How ya doing?

Jeanna,

Feeling a little sappy is perfectly normal.  I get a little sappy sometimes myself.  I'm 7 months post op.  You can do it.

Jeanna, I'm going to follow the plan exactly as it is in our binders we got.  So - I figure it must be ok to advance on to the pureed foods phase when we begin our 5th week.  Won't be long!  I am looking forward to a scrambled egg and maybe some chicken salad!  Yum - something different!
