Entering 9 wks-raw veggies yet?..doesn't say....

Had my RNY at St. Vincents, am entering 9 weeks and was checking out my new food list.  Glad to see more veggies on there but it didn't specify if I still need to steam them, or can I have them raw now?  Had my first salid tonight, that hit the spot!

Since you can have salads, I would say that raw is fine. Just chew the heck out of it. I still have a problem with carrots. Strange...celery is ok but carrots aren't. It's like it splinters and then gets stuck around the stoma.

Isn't it funny how pre-op you didn't want to eat a salad much but post-op? Oh, that first salad tastes like heaven on earth!!
