Good Morning All
It has been a an interesting year for sure. Nevertheless I am grateful, grateful, grateful. I chose to be reminded of the man whose birth that I celebrate at Christmas and the Saviour that I love because He first loved me.
I hope to get our computer back today. I lurk often and miss being able to do. I try to get these sneaks in at work.
I wish for you all to have the most wonderful and blessed Christmas celebration this year and a most lovely New Year with all the Joy and Peace you can stand.
With highest regards and loving hope
Antonette
Morning everyone,
I am sitting here drinking my decaf coffee, and finally getting caught up on all the "news" on here. I have been so busy with babysitting & fighting a cold & layrengitis ,that I haven't done much but collapse when I get home. Today I actually slept in till 10:30-woo-hoo!
Thank you Gail & Sherri for the calls- thought you were talking to a alien-
huh
?!I love our chats- hopefully we'll get together soon. I love & miss you both.
It is an odd Christmas Eve for us. Usually I am all prepared for daughters ,SIL, & grandkids- but this year they are all celebrating with their families. The grandkids are getting older ( so are we-hee~hee!) & want to be home for Christmas. We are going to Christmas Eve service and to see the living nativity our church puts on tonight. Then Amy is going to come over & wrap to her hearts content- of course I will help- I'm the ELF!! I still need a few things for stocking stuffers, but since we won't have our Christmas celebration till Sat. there is plenty of time to get them. Talk about last minute shopper, thats me.We helped our adult kids out this year financially, so there are no gifts under the tree- thats ok, it is about our love for them, NOT the stuff.
Our daughter in Minn. called & said she is sick of snow- they have 15 " on the ground! She delivers mail & has been out in it every day. We got her new snow boots this year. I just love & admire her so much. She goes beyond the norm & makes sure the elderly are ok by hand delivering their mail to them in the winter. What a blessing she is.
To all of you- I am so glad you are part of our family & you bless my life in so many ways. I pray this Christmas be one of peace and joy in the knowledge that Christ came to set us free! What greater gift can we recieve? This year so many have been set free from the slavery of overeating, illness and obesity- what a joy!!! Be blessed my wonderful"family".
Many hugs, & blessings,
Ellen
