Bored already
Chris and Melissa..
I'm not allowed to have tomato products yet because of the acidity of the tomatoes but have done a lot of reading on bariatriceating, com and they suggest:to read labels; Classico, Barilla, & Gia Russo all do not have sugar or high fructose corn syrup in their ingredient list. Choose flavors with the least sugar grams per 2 tablespoon serving..the classico marinara has 2 gm of sugars per serving...Since tomatoes have always been a big thing for me, I'm walkin' the floors waiting for that treat.
The food and protein ideas at bariatriceating ideas are great......So is eggface, Thanks Socki!

I think you are too early out for spaghetti sauce yet. The tomatoes are too acidic and you can't have hamburger this early out.
I ate lots of sting cheese and other cheeses and I also ate the refried beans with a little cheese on them. Yogurt is another good choice. I know the first four weeks are rough because your options are SO limited, but it does get better. I'm sure it's a little tougher for those of you *****cently had surgery because of all the holiday foods and temptations.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
Ok, I didn't reply to Eluca's comments because I thought it was just downright mean. But I feel the need to clarify at this point. I'm not thinking about food. I have to force myself to eat. It doesn't bother me to sit at the table and watch my family eat their meals. I'm just looking for a little variation. I fee as though I'm doing great. I have no cravings, no hunger and I guess I'm sorry for asking what other people eat in an attempt to find a little variation.

Hey girl!
I don't think anyone is trying to "snap" at you. They just are using words in a way that suit them, but others see them as hurtful. I understand because I wrote a similar post a few weeks back (i am now 6 weeks out) and I got the same replies. I suppose I view things like you.....people need to re-read what they type...sometimes being so 'blunt' hurts.
As far as the tomato sauce and tomatoes, they are a no, i tried them and my poor pouch was on fire. I totally understand that you are bored with the options....that was the only thing about the process I had trouble with, and it wasnt that I couldnt eat or that I was hungry, I just wanted to not "re-eat" the same things for a month.
**For anyone reading this, please note that sometimes your replies come off as mean, and it upsets people. I am not saying to not be honest, I am just asking you be more considerate. Melissa is not WANTING more food, she is ASKING for more choices.**
I hope this helps sweetie!! Everyone on this board is really are nice, and they are here to support you, as I am personally!!
Happy Holidays,
Katie

Thanks Katie. While I realize everyone is trying to help, I too think they need to reread what they typed before hitting submit. Happy Holidays to you also!
