Thanks Christie. I've never had grits, what are they like? Never been a fan of cottage cheese, but I may have to try it again.

I have been using LF mild cheddar cheese cubes and have had no problems with them. I have also ate 2 ounces of a baked potato (plain) and have done well with that. The only problem I have had so far is I tried a boiled egg and got deathly ill and dumped so beware of eggs yet.....I had surgery last Monday. I am going to try the Cream of Broccoli soup and coco wheats. I have never had these before. Good luck and keep me posted on what works....thanks

I never liked cottage cheese until after surgery.  I had it with spaghetti sauce on top and microwaved to warm it up then sprinkled with parm cheese.  Sorta like lasagna with no noodles.

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!

Jeannie, that sounds good. Can I do the spaghetti sauce now or do I need to wait until I'm more advanced? Thanks!

No spaghetti sauce now... the acid is too much for your new little pouch!!!!

Make sure you strain the broccoli soup Jen, there are tons of chunks. I literally strained it and it still left tiny specks of broccoli that give it the flavor. It's great when you are ready for something warm. Coco wheats were a new thing for me today. Just remember to add a little splenda, they're pretty gross without it! :O)

I put mashed potatoes in my cottage cheese and it was almost like having baked potatoe with sour cream.  At least I really liked it.  Lived off it for a while.

I'll be glad when we are allowed spaghetti sauce, baked potato and mashed potatoes.  I can think of a lot of ways to spice those things up and make meals.
