Bored already

Someone help. I'm already bored with my food choices. I've eaten SF pudding, SF jello, Cream of Broccoli soup, unsweetened applesauce, coco wheats.

Problem is I'm such a picky eater. What else did you eat in those first 4 weeks that might wet my appetite?

Do you like oatmeal?  You can make all sorts of different flavors. Grits are good too.

You could make the smoothies that the girls have taught me to make and they are yummy.  Tons of possiblities with those....

I made mine with 1 C. milk, 6 ice cubes and added SF pudding (whatever flavor you like) to taste.. I started adding the pudding mix by the teaspoonful till I got it the way I wanted it.  Oh, and I put my protein powder in it too.  You could make up some and freeze it in smaller portions.  I got some small cups at wally world and put mine in the freezer so I can pull one out when I want one.

I got some baby food stage 1 or 2 and added a bit of seasoning and it helped alot.  I love green beans and really missed them.  The baby food helped.

Mashed potatoes will be ok after a little bit longer from now.  Mix them really thin at first.  Add some cheddar cheese... Yummy.

I know it is one of the hardest things to get through.  But you have to go easy so it has a chance to heal your pouch.

In a couple weeks you will start introducing more foods to your pouch and it will make you feel great.

Glad you have an appetite again!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Tracy, does it have to be regular oatmeal? Can it be the instant kind?

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

I love Carb Master vanilla yogurt from Kroger. It has 12 grams of protien in a container. It is very good with vanilla protien powder and dry sf jello in it. Blend it with ice and it makes a great blizzard like smoothie. Change it up with different flavors of jello. Can you have cottage cheese? It is also good mixed with several differnet things. I live in Pittsboro and would love to gert together sometime. Maybe we can also exercise together when the time is right. Jana

Can we have SF pudding and SF jello?  Man, I've been missing out!  LOL.  I eat instant grits, oatmeal, LF cottage cheese, Cream of Potato soup, unsweetened applesauce, and FF refried beans.  On the grits, soup, and beans, I sprinkle a pinch of WW RF shredded cheese.  Very yummy.

Since I'm having trouble getting in protein right now, I try to make at least one of choices at each meal from the higher protein section.
