Congrats Tracy---looks like you are 2/3 of the way to your goal.  What an accomplishment.  I agree a perfect Christmas gift.

How is Chaz and your daughter doing?  I am so happy for your family all being together at Christmas.  Andy is really enjoying being home..so often I see him just staring and wonder what all he has on his mind.  It is a real adjustment for them and one we cannot understand.

Chaz and Ashley are doing great.  They are still going through some adjustments too.  Hard to be newlyweds after a year of being apart.  But they will be fine Im sure.  Chaz has a new found appreciation for my younger kids.  It's really neat to see.  He always liked them, but now, I can tell he LOVES them.  He likes to involve them in things.  He has taken them bowling and to the movies.  He has been to all of Tyler's games since he got home.  He texts me almost every night to say good night and he is really opening up to us as a family now.  I know he didn't have alot of time with us before he left.  They dated a year and a half before they got married but he was in training for about 4 months of that and then he left.    I am most grateful for the blessing he is to our family.

I hope Andy is adjusting well and you all have a wonderful Christmas as a family. 

Isn't your hubby going to have surgery too?  Or am I lost in the maze of OH friends   LOL

Tracy---I think Chaz and Andy saw a lot of kids over there that were in horrible living conditions and basically on their own.  I remember Andy talking about little kids out herding the animals along the busy roads with no adults anywhere around.  Guess it would make them think and cherich our kids even more.

Yes Lyn is having surgery too,.  Mine is Jan 8 and his is Jan 27.  You are not confused !!  Actually our names get everyone confused--mine is Terry spelled like a guys sometimes, his is Lyn spelled kinda like a girls so a lot of people when we first meet call me Lyn and him Terry and then to be more confusing my name is actually Terry Lynn.  All this equals the screen name of   terlyn 

I gotta get---still haven't gotten a gift for Andy yet--I have asked him for some ideas but he just does not know yet what he wants or needs.  Still too new at being home I think and the most important gift of all this year is that he is home.

Sounds like you have a winner of a SIL.
