Karen and I visited Melissa today and she is doing great!   She was walking just as fast as we were and made 3 laps with ease.  She was working on her second mile. She looked wonderful and was jumping up and taking care of business.  She is gonna do just great.

She is such a little girl and cute as can be.  When she gets to goal her oldest son will probably be as big as she is.  LOL.  It was great getting to see her and meet her.

She should be going home tomorrow.  Her boys will be so glad to see her.

Congrats to Melissa!

Cool!  Thanks for the update!  Darn it - I think we could have all walked faster if it weren't for the IV pole!  I kept stubbing my toe on it!!

I also had time to meet her and talk for a little while.  I thought she looked great for just having surgery yesterday.  Hope I get along that well...just 3 weeks from today.

Christie, I told Melissa you sent a big hi to her also.

I went to meet Michelle but they were cleaning her room and said she had just left.

I also asked Melissa if you had been there yet Tracy--I was hoping to get to meet you also.  I was telling Melissa how I thought you were such a positve inspiration to everyone here.

Terry, we just missed you I guess.  She said you left shortly before we got there.  We were hoping to meet you as well.

Thanks for the kind compliment!

3 weeks will go so quickly!

Take care!\
