Thursday: Prayer Requests

In addition to Hope & Peter, please keep my mil, Jean, in your prayers. She had been transported to a nursing home ~a week ago when her insurance ran out at Hooks rehab. This home is suppose to specialize in rehab and had been doing a good job with that portion. Yesterday, Jean passed out so they sent her to the ER. It looks like she has kidney & urinary track infections. Get this...because her cath had moved and wasn't getting the urine out of her body. The urine backed up into her kidneys. When the ER tried to get some urine out of the bag, it would had been someone half blind not to notice that there was hardly any fluid there at all and it was extremely cloudy! She has to stay in the hospital for a few days to get all of the infection out of her system. Can you believe that the nurses at the nursing home never noticed the cloudiness or the lack of volume?? And it is considered one of the best homes on this side of town! Grrrr!

I talked with Gail & she was doing better today but her vision is still blurred. The doctor said it would take a little bit for the swelling to go down from her sinus procedure...so...please keep her in your prayers as well.

I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL.  She'll be added to my prayer list.

Please keep me in your prayers.  I had a wisdom tooth pulled today and boy is it swollen!  Tomorrow morning I have a pain management injection - epidural on my spine.  So tired of the pain when that's why I had my disc surgery.  I'm just plain tired!

 

I wanted to remind everyone to pray for Ellen and Linda Kay as they have family members with serious illnesses as well and are each going through it. 

Please remember to pray for everyone on the board that is experiencing challenges of their own.  Some of them dont post but still need the prayers.  We are very lucky to have such a great family on the OH board and a strong team of believers.
