Jodi, I have really enjoyed being an elf too! When ever I am out and about I am always looking for some ideas to suprise my draw. It has been alot of fun and so rewarding in making someones day special! On the receiving end, I have been totally spoiled! I was prepared to remember someone but was not thinking that I would be remembered so much! My elf really outdid themself in always making my days brighter!
I am up for another round of fun!
Hugs!
Marianne

I enjoyed BEING an elf this time. ( I also enjoyed my elf). Sending things to someone you have never met, praying for them and just being there to help bring a smile was fun. My Elfee likes cute things and it was fun picking out things she had on her list she was GREAT at answering the questions so I had plenty of choices to pick from.

Because of personal reasons.. my sisters (Rita) cancer and taking her to treatments everyday and the stress of knowing I am loosing her... I will not be an elf this next 6 months but if anyone wants to remember me in prayer I sure wont be turning away any blessings thrown our way...

This is a great post!  It gives us a chance to thank Sherri for doing such a wonderful job as the Head Elf!

I love doing things like this.  I've always been a gift giver.  Troy hates that about me.  I do try to get to know things about my draw and send special, personal items.  The only bad thing about it is that my draw usually knows who their elf is because there are so few of us down here.  Especially in Rockport.  It's still really fun but I feel like that one thing makes it not so much fun for my draw.  Still....I always participate!  I just love, love, love it!

Jodi...wonderful post!

I too enjoy being an elf. I love learning more & more about my person...and that makes them extra-special to me...and once you are on my extra-special list, you stay there!

Hi there- I love being an ELF- & getting to know people better! My draw this time isn't active/
doesn't post very often, so I had a harder time getting to know what she likes- hopefully everything I sent. She should get her Christmas gift in the next day or 2.Hopefully I have made her feel loved & special.

I definately want to do it again next go around!!! I think it is a great way to encourage each other, & is fun. I had a great ELF who I sure didn't guess was mine! Vicki really surprised me- especially by sending her guy's son to deliver a gift to my house!!! I do think if something comes up where you can't continue to be an elf that Sherri should be notified so she can get your draw a new ELF. It isn't a reflection on you, it is just to keep it going so noone feels slighted or left out. Thats the fun of being an Elf- letting someone know you care!!!
Sherri is one great ELF and supporter of us all- kudos  to you Sherri!!!! You are the best!!!!!!
