Tried to make one with the grandkids a couple of years ago but there just wasn't enough snow. The best ones I remember were about 25 years ago when the kids were young and we made "snowmen" that were shaped like Care Bears. I put food coloring and water in a spray bottle and we sprayed them so we had a pink and blue bear, complete with cute bear ears and a heart on their chest.
2. What is your favorite activity to do when you are snowed in? (some of you might not want to respond to this one

Usually make some sort of soup and bake something. Then if the electricity is still on, which it isn't a lot when it snows, I like to sew, quilt and read.
3. Have you always lived in a climate that has snow in the winter?
Yes--lived in IN from 1955 to 1985 then in the Thumb part of MI from 85 to 2007. The Thumb was surrounded by the lake on 3 sides so we usually got tons of snow. It usually took 4 or 5 inches before they would cancel school and I think in all those years there was just one day I missed work due to snow--up there you just keep on going. We moved back home here in May of 2007.
1. well it had to be with my ex-god children about probably let me see hhhmmm say about 15 - 18 years ago. If it snows enough this year I might just do one by myself and for myself!
2. When I am snowed in at home I love to bake and read and listen to old records on the turntable...
3. I have always lived in Central Indiana. I also remember that Blizzard! I was snowed in at St. V's on 86th street. What a trip! Maybe I will tell you about it someday if you ask!
what fun these questions are! They make you remember things from way back when! That is if you can remember hhhhhhhHmmMMMHHHMMMMmmmmm?
Wow, memories! Blizzard of '78 was on January 25, 1978. My son was born on October 25, 1978. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9... guess what I was doing during the blizzard!?!

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
actually, a couple of weeks ago, it had barely snowed, but my daughter, 19 months, was so excited about the snow (it was her first time) we went out and rode on the sled and made a snowman, with my mom too... it was a blast! there was barely snow on the ground, but we made one!!
2. What is your favorite activity to do when you are snowed in? (some of you might not want to respond to this one

stay in my jammies and watch movies, read, or cook. yesterday we made it to my parents house and my nieces came over and we made treats for their class Christmas party!!
3. Have you always lived in a climate that has snow in the winter?
sure have! i love it here!!
1. The last real snow "man" was uhhhh....gosh I don't know. We usually make snow animals. Last year we built a snow caterpillar. My daughter is 7 so she likes to roll and roll the snow. I couldn't think of anything else to make with 8 huge snow balls so we put them together and made a caterpillar. It was so cute! We used willow branches for the antennas. We're waiting for another good snow so we can do it again.
2. After we play in the snow we like to build a roaring fire in the fireplace and sit all wrapped up in blankets (with our wet clothes in a pile in the laundry room) and drink hot chocolate. It's one of my very favorite things to do. We get a lot of girl talk in. I learned my 7 year old daughter has had two kisses! From two different boys. I'm in big, big trouble.
3. Always lived in Western Kentucky or Southern Indiana so yes. I like snow. I hate driving in it but love playing in it. I can't wait to go sledding. I'm finally healthy enough to go more than once down the hill! I'll actually be able to head back UP the hill and do it again! YIPPEEEE!!!
smooches,

1. When was the last time you built a snowman and with whom did you build it?
Probably when i was a little kid say..... oh.....8 or so... and with my younger brother and my dad. More then likely Pugsley (our Saint Benard Mix aka HORSE) helped out too, lol.
2. What is your favorite activity to do when you are snowed in? (some of you might not want to respond to this one )
UNO. Love that game. My dad and I would sit for hours playing double handed Uno or sometimes Parchese.
3. Have you always lived in a climate that has snow in the winter?
Hell Yeah!!!!..... Mid Michigan. Wet, damp, nasty, thick, lake effect snow. You have no idea how to drive in nasty snowy weather till you have to drive on lake effect snow. I remember snow starting in early October and running to almost the following May. SUCKED. And we lived out in the middle of no where on an old farm.... so...... we'd be cabin/stocked up for almost 2 weeks at a time before a snow truck would show up for the roads.
P.S. Sorry I was late.... I was at the ER for 5 1/2 hours.
Blessings
