I've added on to my "checkin in"

Post Date: 12/15/08 6:13 pm Just thought I would stop in here and say Hi! Hope everyone is doing good!I'm getting better! I had a 2nd Endoscopy on the 9th. My Pouch was inflamed and the Stoma constricted to 4mm This Time! Last time It was 5mm And they stretched It to 13.5mm. Still wasn't feeling very good on Wednesday so Dr. Huse put me in St. V's Thurs, through Sat.Feeling better I guess Just all The stress From Losing my wife on Thanksgiving to the Funeral To the Surgery And the Problems after I needed those day's in the Hospital. Even got put on the Bari Ward! I'll be on here off and on! Hopefully Back to give others some strength In what there going through with this Surgery! Let me just say if I can get through this Surgery The loss of my wife, 2 Endoscopy's, twice in the hospital for dehyration, Loss of my Job in October 3 weeks b4 my Surgery. CAN SURVIVE! lol!!!I'll be updating My Progress So I'll be around! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!And thank's for the Prayers along the way! Mine are with all of you as well!Rick

Thank you all for your replies! My Wife always believed there was a reason for us meeting!
I think GOD knew he had to take her soon to be with her Son. Which is Tori's twin who was shaken to death by his Father when he was 2 Months old.
I think if we hadn't been going through the problems we where having at the time I would have been with her and after only 27 day's out of Surgery I might have been gone to! And then Tori wouldn't have me here to help her along her path in life. Only being 4 She's going to need alot of good thing's along the way.
Not only that but Mary kept pushing for us to get Married so I could get this Surgery! Just another piece of GODS puzzle for my life! If I wouldn't have gotten this Surgery who know's how long I would have been around! GOD really has a plan for our live's some thing's are very sad some thing's are happy but there's alway's a reason!

I don't Blame GOD for this! But it does hurt! But I'm trying to concentrate on getting myself better so I can go see Tori. With all that's been going on I haven't been able to get out to Cloverdale to see Tori But I call her. She won't talk to anyone on the phone yet but her Grandma say's she smiles when I call for her but just won't get on the Phone. I gotan EHH out of her Yesterday after I told her Grandma to tell her I love Her and if you know Tori That's even Better than an I love you! lol!

Rick, that is so sweet.  I hope you get well enough to see her real soon.  What a blessing you have received!!!  I know things are tough and being the one left behind to watch over her is hard, but Mary would be pleased to know that you love Tori enough to be there for her.  No matter what happened between you, she would not want to Tori to go through life without a Daddy!
