Hey there Jeanna!  You sound more upbeat today!  Good for you!  I walk 10 minutes after each meal for a total of 30 minutes per day, and just make laps around my downstairs.  Makes the cats dizzy.

I am getting my liquids in finally.  Yesterday was the first day.  Now I have yet to get in my protein.  Everything I try tastes awful to me, so I went back to basics.  I use Lactaid FF milk for everything and have for a long time, and the book says we can substitute 6 12oz glasses to cover our protein.  I may just do that.  I did manage to get down an 8 oz glass of Carnation Instant Breakfast made with Lactaid, so I think tomorrow is a Lactaid day for me.

You can take 2 pills at a time?  Oh man....  wish I could!  I could get my doggone meds in a lot sooner each day!  All morning long I'm taking 1/2 pill every 10 minutes!

On the other hand, I have found that I can drink normally, not just sip, and be just fine.  (found this out by accident - old habits are hard to break)

Had a good lunch today - I made a can of Campbell's Cream of Potato Soup with the added 1 can of milk.  Took out 1 ounce of just the liquid, and sprinkled with a little Weigh****chers shredded cheese.  It was absolutely wonderful.  I had 1 ounce of WW yogurt with it to help up my protein.  So what are you eating?

Refried beans are good too.  Try sprinkling a pinchful of Weigh****chers shredded Mexican cheese on top and nuking it just long enough to melt the cheese.  Very good.

Now chocolate pudding sounds good.  I have a couple of boxes of chocolate and banana cream SF FF Jello instant pudding around my pantry.  I may have to mix some up this evening.

Since you're allowed the cream soups, you might try the cream of potato - make it with milk (or FF Lactaid milk if you are lactose intolerant like me) for a little dab of extra protein, and put a pinchful of shredded cheese on top of your serving.  Quite yummy.

I'm trying to mix it up as much as possible so that I don't get bored.  I kind of rotate between grits, cream of wheat, refried beans, cream soups, applesauce, yogurt, and baby food fruits.

Good to hear from you girl!!

when you are both eating your cream of mushroom and cream of potato soup are you putting it in the blender to get rid of the small chunks in there or just eating it the way it is?

Thanks  Terry

When you are eating your sf /ff pudding you can add in your powdered protein and your pudding will kinda be like cake batter, its pretty yummy and a great way to get in your protein.

We were told to strain our "cream of" soups.  They never sounded good to me so besides the one I was served in the hospital I didn't have any.  I got on a refried bean kick and thats mostly what I ate, refried beans and oatmeal.  It didn't bother me to eat the same things everyday.

I add the full amount of milk (soup can worth) to make it really soupy, and spoon out just the liquid.  I'm not straining it, but I'm making sure I get only the soup part.  Blending the chunks in would make it too thick.
