Abdominal CT results

Background:  I have been having some major pain behind my belly button... I have really been worried about it and after 3 weeks of not getting better the Dr. office sent me to St. Vs on Saturday for an abdominal CT scan.

Good news:  Nothing bad surgery related except they are pretty sure the pain is a torn muscle.  It will take time to heal but hopefully time will be the solution.  I'm only allowed walking, no working out or anything....I was enjoying my workouts...

Bad news:  They found kidney stones on my left side.  I had one in college and it was an ER emergency and I ended up passing it but it was sooooo painful.  I have no idea what to expect when they find them early.  I will call my pcp tomorrow.     Any one have experience with kidney stones?

I'm relived that there is no hernia to repair ...but....

My dad gets kidney stones every once in a while. They usually break them up with a laser, so he passes them pretty painlessly. You might ask your doctor about that.
