Indy DS'ers - Need to share a space Near St. V's post op

I have a post on the main board regarding checking into a nursing home after my surgery. I live 3 hours away from St. V's. I've looked into extended stay hotels, but the truth is, living on Social Security disability, I can't afford that for 4 to 6 weeks. Also, I currently live with my sister, and she's made it clear that she will absolutely *not* be able to help me during recovery.

I have paid medical transportation through Medicare and Medicaid, but, if something should go wrong, I'd have a three hour drive to St. V's.

There is a bariatric center here, but they only do RNY's. There is a DS doctor 15 minutes from where I live, but he isn't a "Center of Excellence", which I'm required by Medicare to go to for anything connected with my DS.

Anybody willing to put up a newly switched person for 4-to 6 weeks? In Carmel or Indy would be great, but anyone within a 30 minute drive to St. V's would be great!

I've found someone wiling to share! A DS'er in Lafayette has offered the use of a two bedroom apartment. That will be only 40 minutes to the hospital!
