Christmas Shopping...How's It Coming?

Okay, how is everyone doing with their Christmas shopping? I would say I am about halfway done. I've been wrapping as I go along, so at least I'm not leaving that until the last minute. We're going shopping at the Green in Ohio tomorrow. Our family always has one big shopping trip where we all go together, this year it's the Green. We're going to eat at B.D.'s Mongolian restaurant. I've never been there, but my kids love it. I don't even know if I spelled it right. I'd love to get all finished tomorrow, but I doubt THAT will happen. I'm just looking forward to the fun of shopping with my family...though we'll probably split up for a while when buying for each other, obviously.

I've been looking on eBay for a digital SLR camera for my son, but MAN, they're expensive. I don't really want to go over $300.00, but I don't think I'm going to have a choice. He's majoring in Motion Picture Production at Wright State, and next trimester he will be taking a photography course. The only camera I have is my Kodak EasyShare, not exactly professional quality. Right now they're using film SLRs and we borrowed one from a friend, but I hate to borrow expensive stuff like that. Oh well...hopefully I'll find something.

Better get some work done before getting ready for church. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

I have to get a small present yet for my sister's youngest.  More than likely some action figure t-shirt.  This year I've cut way back on the expenses of Christmas.  The money just isn't like in previous years.   Have to get the shirt today because i need to mail their package to Arizona this week so they get it by Christmas.

Well..the only one that I was worried about getting done ASAP was my person for the Secret Elf. I wanted to make sure I had their Christmas box ready to be sent by Monday so I would know they'd get it in time. So...I finished up that shopping yesterday so now I can breathe easier.

I have alot to get for the grandkids yet. The grown kids are getting alot of things for their house plus $ so I really don't have much more to get for them. I think I'm going to have a new stove delivered to them too. I get alot of house stuff for 'all the adults' since my daughter & sil, step-daughter, and son & gf all live there. And then I get a few 'personal' things for each of them.

I also want to get Bill a new computer chair..kinda hard for me to get that though since he is with me for all of my shopping!! I doubt if he'll want to come with me shopping & to the hospital to visit with Jenny Tuesday so maybe I can find that something-something for him that day.

When we shopped yesterday, we both learned that there is only so much my tummy could handle. We walked around Washington Square mall and I was able to get several things knocked off my list. When we brought packages out to the truck the 2nd time, that pretty much did me in. He had trouble understanding at first why we didn't just go ahead and go to Target & Burlington's since we were there. If we had, I would have been in out of control pain by the time we got home. After I explained that, he understood. We just have to get our shopping done in small time increments this year..that's all. So..it's a good thing I do have this time off. Normally, I could get all my shopping done in 2 days instead of 10. Last year, almost all of my shopping HAD TO be done online so I feel blessed that I can actually go to a store and shop!

Morning Everyone,
I have all of the Christmas we are doing this yr., pretty much. We just got 2 gifts per child- with 11 grandkids, itas alot . Most things cost so much that we has to reallt downsize. Now to get it all wrapped & ready. We are heaving our Christmas on the 27th, so I have time. I plan on getting a little stocking for each & fill with goodies. We have helped the girls out this yr.financially,  so no adult gifts , just a few goodies.( bath & body, etc.)
Good luck shopping- my daughter got some good deals yesturday.
I did get my trrees decorated yesturday after DH put the lights on them for me. I  enjoy the colored ones & have a small tree in my living room decorated with angels & my Nativity under it.
Gotta go, have a blessed day everyone & remember the real reason we celebrate!

My shopping has been done since Black Friday. Now all I have to do is pick up stocking fillers whenever I make a trip to Walmart or even the grocery store (Candy).

Since we can't afford much for the adults in our family most of them are getting homemade crafts and stuff like that, we're focusing on the kids mostly. DH's part time job hasn't had their Santa's workshop yet either though and we usually get quite the deal doing that to fini**** up and thats on the 18th.
