Chris, hang in there, its normal and believe me it will happen a few times. LOL Your body is kinda freaking out because it dont realize you are trying to help it.
Did you get any anti-depressant meds? I asked my doc to put me on them. They agreed it would be a good idea because of the emotional mood swings and depression issues. So far so good. I love my lexapro!
Go ahead and cry if you feel like it but don't let it get ya down!
Huge soft hugs and prayers your way!

Christie, I have a friend who said she cried off and on the entire first month. Completely normal, life as you knew it has changed dramatically. It will all be worth it, just hang in there.

Cristie,
All the ladies before me did an excellent job at letting you know how very normal you are. There's only one thing they didn't mention that I thought I would.
Pre-op, food was our best friend. It had been for a very, very long time. When we have the surgery, we lose that best friend. Some of us actually mourn as if our best friend died.
For whatever the reason, know that there are so many who have experienced the same thing. Talk with your pcp or surgeon about it.
Congrats on getting through this past week. It does get ALOT easier!!

I have a bit of a headache today, and have had trouble sleeping, so maybe that's it. But I have been in tears most of the day. Now I am off to a good start - loss of 14.4 pounds already, so why am I bawling? Is there something wrong with me or am I normal? Help!
