The more you move the faster the soreness leaves.  I made sure that each time I got up, bathroom, drink of water, whatever, I made a lap or two through the house.  Keep walking and the soreness will lessen.

Glad you're home chickie poo!  I have a difficult time getting up and down too.  My left side really hurts and feels like it pulls, but there's no nearby incisions to where the pain is.  I figure it's just the muscles healing, especially after I was so stupid as to pick up a towel at the hospital yesterday.  When it hurts now it is usually when I am getting up out of the recliner, or getting up from the toilet.  Once I stop doing that, I don't hurt anymore.  Going to take it a little easy tonight and relax.  You should too girlfriend!

Walk a couple of laps around the room whenever you have to get up to go to the bathroom or whatever - seems like I'm going to the bathroom constantly, but of course, I'm constantly sipping.

Congrats Jeanna....

I know the more you walk the better you feel....I am now 4 weeks out and the only pain I get and it is very minimal is my left side...I found this was from where they put the intruments in and stuff like that.....Hang in there and all will be good...Welcome to the loser club!\
