Open Invitation

Hi. I am writing to let you know that if any of you are available to come meet me, I am having my surgery on Monday!!! I will be at St. Vincents in Carmel, IN and would love to meet some of you who have been through this already. I may not be ready for company until late monday afternoon and Tuesday should be fine.....I will have my laptop at the hospital and If something should go wrong and I am not up to company, I will at least post that here monday mid-day. If you think you can come just let me know....my name is Jennie Stephens and my surgery is scheduled for 7:30am. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Hope to meet some of you then!! You are an inspiration for all of us pre-ops.

Good luck!  You'll do just fine!  I just came home from the hospital yesterday, and St. V's is a 40 minutes drive for me - so I probably will not make it up there.  However, know that I'm with you in spirit!!

I'm on vacation now but I don't know what all Bill has planned for me. He tends to be my activity director when I'm off...lol. 

I have tons of Christmas shopping to do yet so I may let Mr. Bill know that I'm doing a Meijer's run and come up on Tuesday. There IS a Meijer's close! LOL! If you need anything, please call me & let me know. My # is in the directory. If you don't have it, let me know & I'll send it to you.

Are you waiting until Monday morning to drive up to Indy? I know some people come the day before and stay in a hotel that night. If you plan on doing that and want to meet for lunch on Sunday (since I figure you'll be on liquids for dinner), let me know..k? who will be here with you?

Hi. It would be great if you could make it up on Tuesday!! I would love to meet you. I am not coming up the day before, I am going to be here at home until about 4am then I will leave to come to the hospital. My ex-husband is bringing me, he is one of my best friends now and my other best friend Kim is coming up too but she will only be there on Monday for a little while. Brandon, my ex, is going to stay with me until Wednesday. I do hope you make it up and I don't have your number so if you want to send me a message with it that is great. Thank you for everything.

There is a Meijer just south of St V's.  If you go south on Meridian (31) to Carmel Drive and turn east.  It's a half block on your left.

We have a Meijer's over here on the east side (E. Washington) but I always go to the one off of Meridian! LOL! Dr. Bergman's office is just a little further at Old Meridian so I usually will stop into Meijer's after my check-ups with her.

What time do you think you'll be heading to see Jennie Tuesday? Maybe we can meet at Starbuck's or something (same lot that Max & Erma's is in at West Carmel Drive & Meridian). We can get hyped up on their 'why bother' drink (decaf latte with skim milk...I like mine with sf vanilla added to it) before coming in to see Jenny. LOL!

It looks like we'll have to make two separate visits to Jenny. I'm an early riser and with my tummy swelling up as the day progresses, I try to have all of my running done as early as I can in the day....before my 'pregnant' waddling starts. If it weren't for that, I'd love to meet you then but I know I'd regret it physically for a few days if I did.

I'll try not to wear Jenny out too much! LOL!
