Good Monday Morning

Good Morning Family,
I had a awesome week-end !! I just took our human pet out and he rushed in very cold, 2 words "Dress Warm" . I am asking for some prayers too, Phil, many of you added prayers for in the past, needs them again. He feels like he will not be leaving the nursing home. Prayers are needed.  He wants to go home.

Good Monday Morning Fellow Hoosier Losers, I am up and at em this morning, getting my son on the bus.  On the days when I work he gets himself on the bus, but when I am home I still like to see him off even though his is 14 lol.  I will be taking my mom and grandma up to Methodist today to see Grandpa, I think they have him stablized and will send him home.  I hope they send him home and not to the hospital down here because that is what both him and grandma want, for him to be home.  He has had pnemonia three times in about three months, I guess its from the leisons on his lungs, who knows.  I just hope he has peace in his last days, he is a christian and will be in heaven so I hope he doesn't have to go through hell on earth to get there.

Good Morning everyone!  A bit warmer this morning than the last few have been.  This week I’m working a five day week for a change.  Year end is the 17^th so in case we have some “need it done now” work, I’ll be here to help out.

 

I’m sure unhappy with myself for not making the Ornament Exchange.  I had looked forward to it for months.  And being the coward I am in driving on snow and ice backed out halfway to Brenda’s and went back home.  The roads were so bad and I didn’t know what to expect later in the day.  Even though I grew up in Indy and drove in the icky stuff for many years, living in the southwest where I didn’t have to drive on icy roads has made me very leery of winter conditions and being behind the wheel.  In fact I’ve already told them at work that if there is snow and ice on the ground don’t expect me in.  Last winter when a storm was predicted I took a vacation day the next day, just in case.  The only problem with that is the one day when it wasn’t bad in Westfield, as I got closer to work, the weather was worse than at home.  So you never know.

 

Anyway, I am so sorry to have missed out on the fun and meeting the new faces.  Sounds like you all had a ball.   May today bring peace and contentment to all of you.

I had an awesome weekend.  I spent the whole thing with friends and family.  However, my house has decided that it needs a little "me" time.  It is the worst it's been in weeks.  I will be cleaning all afternoon at this rate.  I held off on grocery shopping until this morning so I can go with all the retirees.  LOL  I dont have a lot of big plans today. 

I am excited about tomorrow night.  It will be my first time going to the ST. V party.  I can't wait to experience it and to spend more time with my OH family members that are there.  Plus it will be my first time to get all dressed up since losing nearly 100 lbs.  I think it will be fun.

I have had a horrible time trying to get on here today! I'm just hoping that when I hit 'submit'...that it does!

Anyway, I too had a very nice weekend. But...time to get these four days knocked out of the way! LOL! Bill & I are doing a little bit of shopping tonight. I think we have something going every night. That should make these days go by even quicker!

Its nasty out there.
Jeannie i put my boys on the bus every morning if not Lucas would never go to school.lol
Had to go to walmart to get Joey and omg my suv was a sheet of ice and it was still coming down,but i put the 4 wheel drive on and drove slow.....
it didnt hit everywhere it was a hit and miss thing,usually i dont drive in it poor neil has to.lol i just set on the passenger side and complain.
Jeannie and Gail and Tracy your friends and family are in our prayers.

I gotta wrap presents and work on 2 quilts today.
My aunt broke my heart sat she looks so bad and there is nothing we can do for her,im trying to get her quilt done so i can get it to her soon.

I'm up.  I don't know if I am really with it.  I didn't get much sleep.  I've had insomnia since college.  It's great! 

My grandmother is up, too.  OH JOY!  I have to get in the shower and get ready for dialysis and I thought I would get that done before she got up.  She tends to get in the way.

Today I need to go get my blood drawn.  I think I am low on IRON.  Well, and the docs agree obviously.  MORE VITAMINS??? 

Hope everyone is doing well.  You guys live in Indiana....you have to get use to the snow and ice!!!!!  Come one people its not new!!!   If I get behind one of you going 15mph in a 50 zone I am not going to be happy!

I would never go that daggone slow.
I just didnt fly like i usually do, i went 60 in a 50 instead of my 75 in a 50..lol
I have never like to drive in snow, but today i had to put on my big girl panties and go with it..
I was just surprised by it this morning ...

Well the kiddos I am babysitting should be here in about 10 mins or so. I feel like crud. :( This stuff is deep in my chest, I can barely keep up with them. I hope they're good. It's just hard enough for me to breathe for myself much less be able to chase them around but I can't really call in sick.

I do have my hematology check up today. They will run my labs and then I will find out if they will be starting my iron infusions again or see if my iron has held up.

Anyways thats it for now I'll be back in a few.
