New to this

Hello everyone.  I am new to this site.  I am pre-op and looking for sugery hopefully the first of the year.  I just finished up my six months of documented weight loss through my pcp.  I am starting to get very excited!!  I just wanted to say hello and thought it would be nice to chat with people who live close to me.  Take care all!!

Welcome to the Indiana board.  You will come to love this group of people.  We consider ourselves a family.  You have chosen my surgeon as yours!  She is amazing.  I really like Dr. Gupta.    Please feel free to post any time and join in our activities as well.

Welcome! Congrats on finishing up with the pcp supervised diet. We all wish you the best with the insurance approval process. That, for me, was the most nerve-wrecking part of it all.

We hope that you feel comfortable coming online and joining in on any conversations on here as well as starting up some of your own. You will find that we get OT (off topic) quite often! That's because we are all friends and talk about just about everything! And no, I don't mean 'friends' as in hanging out all the time. Many of us have never met, and yet, we feel such a bond to each other. I do hope that you will come to feel that way too. If you have any questions, etc, please feel free to pop a note on here. If we have a clue as to what might help you out, we try to answer as quick as we can. Some stuff though may be out of our realm of knowledge or experience.

Oh..and we DO get together as much as we can. Please feel free to join in on anything you see posted here!

This surgery is a journey but it is a wonderful journey..
