I really wanna make the St V's Christmas party

Is it for just St V obesity surgery people OR can any other people from other facilities come too?????

It's supposed to be St V's patients but patients have brought friends from other facilities..

Oh... well never mind then. I really don't want to feel like an outsider just because of the place I chose to have surgery. I was just looking for something to do because my therapist said I need to get out of the house (cuz I never do) and make friends (I have none locally that do things w/me or call me... or normal friendship type stuff). It would have been nice to see everyone all dolled up. Hope everyone has fun.

They don't have anyone there checking IDs or anything at the door. You can just walk in and show up theres no rsvp or anything like that. Show up and hang out with everyone. :) My therapist told me I need to get out and meet people too but making friends is hard.

Yes it is hard to make normal friendships/friends when you are distrusting of people in general. But... I don't know.... I might go... I might not. Who knows. 

 

How are you doing? I've been reading your posts on R&R... just to embrass to post a response, sorry.

I'm doing okay. The depression stuff really SUCKS.. Right now my therapist is on maternity leave too and I have to use one of the others in her office but have to get a new appointment since the hematology appointment too precidence this time. I see the pscyh on Thursday though, hopefully get some answers.

I hope you can make it too. I may be toting a box of kleenex myself (darn sinus infections) but I'm not contagious.
