My Turn To Ask For Prayers

Fellow Hoosier Losers, My family is in need of your prayers.  My grandfather was airlifted to Methodist today.  He is 82 years old, and has a multitude of ailments now.  He has cancer, pnemonia, anemia, and a host of other conditions.  He has been having spells that make him fall so he has had visiting nurse services but has been hospitalized severeal times in the past couple of months.  I know he isn't going to live forever and he's never going to be okay so maybe your prayers should be that my family can find peace in our situation.  Its so horribly sad for me, I love my grandpa so much.  He was my rock when I was a child, I can barely even stand to think of my life without him.  Please help me pray that he will not have to suffer some horrible life here at the end.

Jeannie, consider yourself hugged.  I am sorry you and your family are facing this right now.  I lost my mom during the holidays too.  It's never easy but this is so hard.  I think that your request to pray for your grandfather's passing shows how much you love him.  It is the hardest prayer I ever made when I asked God to take Mom so she wouldnt suffer any more.  But It shows you are acknowledging that you believe that God has prepared a much better place for him.

I will pray for you and your family.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Im so sorry about your grandpal and we will keep you and your family in our prayers.
Its hard losing anyone but  grandparents are always suppose to be  there .I was 5 when my gpal died and he was my hero even at that age,so i know this has to be hard.
I agree with you i dont want anyone to pass on but i also dont want them to suffer.
Lots of prayers and cyber huggs.

Jeannie  Loosing someone you love and adore is so hard.  My heart goes out to you.  I found peace when my Mother died knowing she would be free of pain and free of her body that had failed her.  It was a time of real reflection... I wanted her with us but knew in my heart she had been through so much.  Look for that peace in your heart... Speak what your heart feels and I am sure your Grandfather knows how much you love him. You can be his rock now.
Blessings to you all, Leah
