Ornament Exchange

Oh my goodness! I had such a good time seeing you all today!! As I always do! I got the biggest kick out of when Tracy got there. She came in the door and looked over at me. I said 'Hi Tracy' and she said 'Hi Sherri' back..then went on with coming in, getting her coat off, etc. So what was so funny about that? That was the VERY FIRST time Tracy & I had seen each other in person and yet I felt so close to her from on here (and I am assuming she felt the same way) that we said hi to each other as if we see each other all the time!!! LOL! Lisa & I pretty much did the same thing! How funny is that??? I had been looking forward to meeting both of these ladies so much and then when I do...? It was as if we'd know each other forever.

There is NO way that I could remember all the names of everyone who came. There were so many and we had such a good time fellowshipping. The food was wonderful. The house was georgeous! Our host & hostess (Floyd & Brenda) excelled as they always do! Not to mention, we have some terrific ornaments! I don't know which I like more...the glass snowman I got or the silver musical Noel that Bill got. They are both beautiful.

I want to especially thank Gail. It was a pleasure having your company yesterday & today...and I'm looking forward to Tuesday! And sweetheart....you are HOT!

To all those who couldn't make it...you were missed. Be safe. Be well. And I hope you can make it to future activities. It really is a binding glue that makes friendships that will last a lifetime.

I must agree! I had so much fun visiting today with everyone! Floyd and Brenda done an awesome job, as always!


It was great  to meet those that I had not met before! It was fantastic to see those that I had met and see them continuing to be so successful along their journies! It was nice seeing Jessica, I had missed her at the events! AND Miss Gail- WOW what a transformation- you are beautiful, my friend- WE already new that, tho- BUT you are doing such an amazing job and have come so far on your journy! Keep believing, it is happening!

Karen, thanks again, so much! I love em, I have them on already! My husband can't believe I have 5.00 CROCS! Gotta love ya! And RICHARD, what a blessing. I am so glad that you are happy! He seems to be a great man!! Looking forward to seeing the 2 of you again at upcoming events! You are a great couple! A true inspiration- that anything can happen, age doesn't matter, and love will find you, when you least expect it!!!!

Dawn, glad you are loving the CROCS.  I love mine.  I just recently bought a pair of fur lined knockoffs at Kmart and love them too.  Thanks for the kind words about Richard.  He is such a sweet man, and I thank God daily for allowing him to come into my life.  He enjoyed meeting everyone too.  I think as time allows he will come with me in the future.  Great to see you.  Love and hugs.  Karen

I am sooo glad we made it to the exchange.  I finally met so many of my amazing OH family.  And Sherri, you are right.  I felt as if we have been hanging out forever!  Marc even felt as though he knew you a bit.  I talk to him about all of you often.  He says after meeting all of you today that he wants to get a logon so he can visit the board too.  LOL  He was amazed at the closeness and friendships of all of us.  He said "it felt like our family christmas parties."  I felt just like that. 

Shanna, Lisa, Jen, Bev, Karen, Floyd, Brenda, Dawn, Emil, Antoinette, Scott,...It was great to meet you all of you.  I am sorry that I didn't have more time to meet some of the others.  There were so many and we all got caught up in the conversations that I only got to see some of you across the room.  I didn't want to miss anyone but I realized time flew by and it was done before we knew it.

Lisa, Marc really enjoyed talking with Neil.  Funny the connects you make from the past.  LOL  It's a small world.

Gail, smoking hot is the only thing I can say..... dang girl!  And Jessica too!  I loved her hair.  I wish mine looked that great.  Both you girls were rockin' some hot boots too!

Jen, I really enjoyed our conversation so much.  You and your husband are both such sweethearts.  Keep up the great work!

We had a blast,and Sherry i feel like you are a true confidant,someone who is been thru hell but yet your there for everyone else...Neil says ive never met her before have i ?no honey today is the first time we meet her and he doesnt beleive me..Bill reminds me of my best friends hubby (they live in georgia)i didnt mean to stare but they could pass for twins..

Bill wasn't having the best of vision days yesterday (which is why he hung out in the kitchen most of the time). Even if it had been a good eye day though, he wouldn't had been able to tell that you were staring at him!   I probably shouldn't admit this...although I have to him...but I am more fortunate than most women. I can roll my eyes at him when he gets on a roll and him never know it! lol! They say that we all have a twin and I don't doubt that abit. It would be interesting to know if your friend's hubby also has anaritia (Bill's eye condition).

It was terrific to finally have met you. Did you tell Neil that we've talked enough on here that we probably know more about each other than our siblings know about us? I know you guys know WAY more about me than even my mother does!

I had a great time as well.  The food and fellowship was great....as always.  Brenda and Floyd had the house looking great and were such awesome hosts.  Scott....thanks for the water and warming up my SUV.  You and Floyd did a great job hanging that banner!!!

It was so great to see Vicki and Jessica.  You girls are looking so great.   I hadnt seen Gail in so long and shes looking pretty hot herself.  I do have to say that Jessica and Candycain have to win the best Hair award!!!  They are both so beautiful.  

The role model award has to go to the two ladies in Red.  Jana and ____ (sorry I cant remember your name. it is 4 am).  You guys were very encouraging.  I have alot more hope for the furture now.   You both seem to have done great keeping the wt off all these yrs.  You were so kind to share with me.  Love you both!!!

Dani and hubby,  it was nice meeting you both.  Shanna, It was great seeing you again and I did love those mushrooms.   Im waiting on that recipe.  I'll be making them for Andy next week ( I really am Happily Married) Anyone reading this...Shanna has nothing to worry about since she is so smokin hot.  You have to win the award for having done the best post op.  You really do look great!!!  Hubby has to be so proud of you.  I did put in a good word for you yesterday to get his butt moving on the Christmas lights....I hope it helped...LOL.
