Prayers for my family please.

I have a very special prayer request for my daughter Ashley and her husband Chaz that just got back from Iraq.  I dont want to share the details just yet.  Let's just say it is medical for Ashley and a stumbling block they are facing.

Another prayer is needed for my family as a whole.  We had an Aunt that wa**** by a drunk driver while walking her dog about 3 weeks ago.  He basically tore her in half at the hips the fled the scene.  She has fought hard but couldn't recover.  She lost all brain activity yesterday suddenly and passed away.  It is very difficult for her two children and husband to understand and deal.  Please pray for the Shobe's from Hobart.

Tracy,  It would have been nice if your daughter and son could have had at lease one uneventful week before they had to deal with life again.  I'm sure it has not been easy for them.  I will remember them in my prayers, but I know with a mom like you and your family support system they will be fine.
I have family around Hobart, Gary, and Merriville area.  In fact I was born in Gary.  How can people do such things? even if it were an accident, I would not be able to forgive myself...I will pray for your aunts family, this will be a rough holiday for them...

Tracy you have my prayers and if there is anything else I can do just call me! I am sorry to hear about your aunt! Same thing happened to a man just here recently in Indy I think! What is wrong with people? Some 19 year old ran his truck into a house in my old neighborhood and fled the scene. No one was hurt but he had no insurance and had been drinking so that is why he took off. The house has been knocked off the cement flooring and will never be the same. The family there is probably never going to be able to live there  as it will be considered unsafe and condemned. Since the guy had no insurance  it will probably never be fixed, unless the homeowner fixes it. So why wasn't he arrested? People there are some good ones like you that never get any news told about them and then their are the bad ones, and they are the ones we hear about. Anyway sorry for getting on my soap box so early on this blustery morning. Again prayers will be said! Michelle

Tracy, I will be keeping Ashley and Chaz in my prayers. May God keep them encircled in His loving and healing arms and give them understanding, acceptance and the peace that only He can give~the peace that passes all understanding. I am keeping the medical people in prayers too for knowledge, understanding and compassion.

I live in Portage and that is right next to Hobart to the southwest of us. I have read about that incident in the papers. I am keeping your whole family in prayers. That is so tragic and I am at a loss as to how people can do things like that. I am praying that God keeps everyone in His loving arms and gives peace and understanding. Death is never easy and when it comes from cir****tances such as something like this it is so hard to accept. May the peace of God envelope them so that the road that they must travel now is made easier for all of you. We grieve not for the one that we lost we grieve for ourselves and the life that we are going to have without the person that we love. That is alright and God understands that.

God's will to be done in Ashley and Chaz life.  Your Aunt is in a better place now and all cares are gone.  It is hard for family.  I pray that a comfort will come over them and a understanding of God's will happens.
I know if Becky was to be called home a large hole will be in my heart but I also know to be absent from the body is too be present with the Lord.  There will be rejoicing.
When he calls me home my wish is for all to celebrate my homegoing.

Your message has given me comfort and a few things to think about.  I lost my mother 10 years ago this christmas season.  I struggle with it daily.  But I also know that God is allowing my mother to prepare our heavenly home for all of us to be together some day.

I truly believe that God's will is the only way of life for me.  I am hoping that Mary Lou's children are able to understand and find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and is dancing in heaven now.  My mom is probably showing her around. 

I am so glad you posted tonight.  I am feeling much better about alot of things.
