So my nut changed my diet and said I can start eating soft foods like fish and ground beef.  He also said he thought I was doing great cuz I am down almost 27 pounds....That made me feel really good so my spirits have been lifted some!!!  Yeah!

Congrats on the diet changes.  It's always a good day when you can add another something in.  Be very careful with the meats though.  That's when I started having trouble.  I still can't eat fish.  I do really good with ground meats though.  I usually use ground turkey or chicken but do occasionally do ground chuck.  Chop it as small as possible and chew, chew, chew.

I hope I'm not being naggy.  I just want you to be careful.  Beans were and still are my favorite food.  They go down easy and don't hurt the tummy.

And 27 lbs!  Wowwwie!!!  Think of a 20lb bag of potatoes.  That's what you've lost!!!  Amazing.

Good for you!  Keep up the good work.

Way to go, Melissa! You're on your way! Be careful with meat, make sure it's moist. I still have trouble with meat sometimes, and even chicken if it's really dry. Chili is great, vegetable soup made with ground beef, soup beans with little ham chunks...those are great ways to get protein and they go down easy. Tuna salad and chicken salad are also good choices.

Best of luck to you!
