O.k. I am not there yet, but I am getting close annd the weight just keeps coming off at a pretty regular pace. I  am at 152 right now, another 10 and I would be a happy person.  Not sure I want to weight 130, not sure itwould fit my body type.

Anyway, does your body just stop, Do you start doing things differenly?

Anyone run into the trying to find out how to maintain?

Just a few questions for thought.

Hey Kim,
I am at 143/144 right now. My original goal was 130. I moved it up to 138 because I know I would be too small and I am 5'3". 141 I will be "normal". My face looks very Gaunt sometimes. I know I would easily loose 5 pounds of skin when  (or if) I can get my panni removal. I just add mor carbs to my diet....Slowly and controlled of course and add snacks. I would stick to more healty snacks, though. Not crap. Just to pick up calories not fat. BUT your body will stop when it's ready, Or so my NUT says. I am still only 7 months out and would like to lose 5 more pounds so we shall see. Good luck....

I don't have an answer for you, but I wanted to hijack this post to tell you how great you look in your new avatar.  WOW, you've kicked some booty!

How are you feeling these days?  I seem to remember you were having troubles with strictures...is all that better now?

KIM!!!  Oh my goodness!  You look amazing!  I honestly didn't recognize you.  I had to look up your page to figure out who you were!  I am so proud of you!

I can't wait to be that close to my goal.  I am losing slowly now.  It's steady but slow because of my dang dehydration issues.  But a couple pounds a week is still ok with me.

Take care and congrats!  Huge hugs!

The NUT is correct.  Your body will stop when it is time.  Be careful about adding carbs or snacks.  You can get old habits back.  I am at 18 months and can eat pretty much anything I want [I just have to keep at reasonable quantities] in fact I would like to lose 10 lbs that I gained in the last 4 months.  It is hard to get it off.

Remember you can gain weight back the stomach will stretch.  I have a friend with a LRnY on another type of board and he lost 180 lbs and gained 140 back over 4 year time.  So be careful.
