Wednesday!
Good morning to all! Happy Wednesday! I haven't been on in a couple days. Life has been so busy. Had a great Thanksgiving, though with the family. Worked alot last weekend at Sears, but that's to be expected in retail. Our store actually had a good weekend.

Good morning all. I am up and at em early this morning. I have to climb dirty clothes mountain today. It will be a big adventure I am sure since I didnt get to do any this weekend. I will have a house full of kids tonight! I am looking forward to that.
Wanted to share my "experiment" with you. I took my left over turkey yesterday and made a yummy dinner with it. I put it in the crockpot and covered it with salsa, onions, refried beans, and jalepeno cheese. Let it simmer all morning. It turned out so yummy. We topped it off with some shredded cheese when we made our plates. He ate his with tortilla shells. I ate mine just plain. Cant do the shells thing yet. It was just like chicken fajitas. YYUMMM!
Hope you all have a great day. It seems several of us have been struggling with depression and this horrible gloomy weather. Hang tough everyone... we will make it through together.

Your experiment sounds soo good!! i'm going to try it. I took all my turkey and put it in the food processor and ground it up. Then added a little light miracle whip. It's so hard to figure out what to do with all the leftovers!!!

I feel like the hardest part about work is actually getting here so...5 more days left! Woo-hoo! I know. I really should not wish my life away like this. I'm looking forward to being off for 3 weeks though.
Bill & I went and picked up those clothes from Leanne yesterday. Macy (her puppy) is so beautiful. She's a shepard mix. She's very small for a shepard...the 'mix' portion was definately a small breed. I fell in love with her but Bill reminded me that we do have grandkids who come over and we would also take any dog we have to a campground and need to be sure that fellow campers kids wouldn't get nipped. If any of you out there aren't around kids though, Macy would make a very loveable housepet.
I talked with Brenda and Floyd is doing better. He is still having some pain though so please continue to keep him in your prayers. The results should, hopefully, continue to improve for the next 72 hours.

Wednesday huh... seems too soon for Wednesday already.
Spent some time with my Dad yesterday. He is 65 but not in good health. He has polyarteritis nodosa. Kind of like cancer of the veins. It is pretty rare. He came down this about 16-17 yrs ago. He was in remission for a long time but the last few years have been rough for him. Lots of pain involved with this. If you can imagine your veins hurting.. more of a burning from how he describes it. Breaks my heart.
I lost my Mother in 2001 after her long struggle with MS. Watching her deteriorate over the years was so hard. I am so thankful for the advances they have made with this disease in the past few years. I am looking forward to the MS walk this coming year. I have participated in the past but could only struggle through a mile walk. I am going to do more and better and faster this year!!!
I talked to my brother who is having a spinal tumor removed on Friday. He is so scared. We have to be at Methodist at 8am on Friday.
I am going to with my husband and daughter tonight to purchase the items for the children we are sponsoring this year for Christmas. That will be fun.

Happy Wednesday everyone. I am anxiously awaiting the heating guy. Our house is only 4 years old, but ever since we built it, we can't seem to heat or cool the bedroom at the top of the stairs. Problem is, my youngest sleeps in that room. Every time I all the contractor, they tell me to adjust the damper, but it doesn't work. So I called a different company to see what they say. Poor baby sleeps bundled in pjs to stay warm.
I'm going to finally get the tree put together today (if Zachary naps) so we can decorate it tonight. I'm a bit behind the eight ball. Then we are going to Advent service at church. We have such a hard time making it on Sundays because I work Sat nights and am a zombie on Sun.
14 days and counting, I have so much to get done. Preop class is tomorrow, can't wait!

Hello all
Its a interesting day to say the least.lol
Neil had an colonostomy this morning everything looked good ,they told him he could be have gall stones even though he doesnt have a gallbladder.
Now im really confused,so he has to have an ultrasound..
My test were done yesterday and i started bleeding and at one point she looked at me and ask if i was okay and im like yep and she ask if i always bleed profusely and im like yes and she said thank goodness i thought i had done something wrong i was really confused cause i had stopped 2 days ago..But i had started again (thats why i wear black).
Went to meijers and they had ground beef for 75 cents a pound it had 3 days left on it so got alot and froze it.
We are doing away with cable it sucks so dh got a military discount with sattelite so they are hooking it up this aftrenoon.
Linda dont work to hard sweetie.
Tracey we didnt have any left over turkey(teenage boys are vultures)lol...but it sounds wonderful..
Leah im so sorry about your day i cant imagine the pain. Its horrible watching your parent suffering.
Sherry are you excited about all your time off.

Well, the day's half over before I got a chance to jump on the board. Sounds like everyone is keeping very busy these days. I envy you Sherri with having three weeks off. I filled out my schedule for the holiday weeks and will work Dec 22-23-24 the first week and 29-30-31 the second week. Be nice having two 4 day weekends in a row. I bet I'll hate it when the holidays are over though.
Trying to get caught up on some paperwork today. Have a few cases that are boogers and trying to figure them out so I can explain them to my boss is driving me nuts.

Spending it at work with my left arm in a sling. I got up at 4 AM Tuesday to do a 3.25 mile run and took the dog with me. Well I get 1/2 mile from home and the dog trips me and I go shoulder first into the road. I broke the end of my clavicle. Hey it could have been worse. I don't need a cast just keep it in a sling as much as possible for 3 to 4 weeks.
That will never happen, please don't tell Becky but I will probably only keep in on when she is around. Know how us guys get.
