That's ok, I'm a party animal - come see me, and we'll dance in the halls!!!

ETA:  Actually, I'll look like crap, but if you come see me, it will motivate me to get my rear outta the bed and walk!!   There's folks from the wlsindy.com board that are coming to see me too!  I am a social person and love company!

Well, I'll likely feel miserable, and you know what "they" say:  Misery loves company!!

Like I said above, I'll likely look and feel like crap, but I won't be able to lay in bed if people are running in and out - they'll make me get up and walk, and then I'll likely feel better!

That's just the way I am....

I dont remember much about the day of sugery. I just asked hubby what happened the first day and he said I slept quite a bit.  I know one thing I am with you Jenna, no commpany for me on the first day, I felt like crap kinda like i just had surgery or something lol.

My doc doesn't use Morphine.  She says if we dont get opened up... we don't need it.  I think it helped me to get up and going faster.  The liquid lortab did fine by me.  Kept my head clearer too.  Don't worry Jeanna, you will do fine and you might just see that you want to be out in the halls walking and visiting.  I totally understand you wanting quiet time too.  I am more like Christie though.  I loved walking the halls and meeting other people.  I made a few new friends there too.  I was proud that I walked 2 miles the first 24 hours after surgery.  And yes, it did make me feel lots better.

Good luck to you both!
