Monday Again!

I didn’t see a Monday thread.  Didn’t get a chance to get on-line over the long weekend,   I did read the posts to catch up this morning.  Had Thursday through Sunday off, needless to say it was hard to get up and get going this morning.

Sounds like everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  I went to my DIL’s mothers for dinner, had a very nice time.  Friday morning my DIL and I hit Wal Mart at 5:00 a.m.  Went to the one at 151st and US 31, it was a zoo.  But did get a few things on sale.  Went to the Christian Book Store in Carmel after that, they opened at 7:00.  I couldn’t believe how crowded it was, but they had some great deals too.  I think I am finished with my shopping.

Spent Saturday putting up my tree.  It took me 5 hours to get all the lights and ornaments on it.  I am of the theory that less is not more where ornaments on the tree are concerned.  The more the better!  After the tree was done I wrapped and/or bagged all the presents, so I’m about as ready as I’ll ever be.  Of course like everyone else Christmas has been cut back this year so no one will be getting gifts like in years past.

Yesterday my granddaughter and I decorated their tree.  She and her daddy were going to decorate it after church, but at 5:00 a.m. yesterday he was called in to a big fire in Westfield.  He didn’t get home till 4:00 in the afternoon.   He fell asleep in the chair after dinner he was so tired.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I'm also just trying to catch up with the board.  Thanksgiving was great.  My son flew in from Fort Worth as a surprise.  The tree is up and the carolers are in the window, the nativity is on top of the piano.  The rest of the decor is still in the attic and is going to stay there.  Hope everyone has a great week!

I had my hysterectomy several years ago.  It sounds like we had the same symptoms.   I had to have some testing and a biopsy done as well.  Have you ever been diagnosed with PCOS?  I had it and my uterine lining was super thick.   I never had a period unless the dr made me have one then it wouldn't stop for months.  I finally had a hysterectomy after all of my tests proved no endometrial cancer and it was the best thing that ever happened to me until my GBP.  I hope yours turns out as well.

Love you,
Jacqui

I had the most awesome day yesterday with all my kids!  Both SIL's were here too.  It was the first time since the three weddings that I have had all my kids at home and my hubby too.  I know it's how it goes with military families but, I have waited over a year for this.  It was better than Christmas for me.  I loved it so much.  They were here 930a to 1230a!  Boy am I tired!  But never complaining!!!

Today, big plans.... Laundry, (the kids brought some over too!  LOL  lucky me!) Putting the house back in order, and dividing up some of the left overs for the freezer.  Life is good!

Unemployment has taught me how to actually enjoy the small things in life again.  Silly but true.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Good morning all.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I did, of course I spent it at work, but thats ok too.  Our family had ours on Tuesday, so we got to enjoy a peaceful evening together.

Things are slowly getting back to normal around here.  Still without a home phone, but I have had a pre-paid cell given to us from one of our church members.  They have all been such blessings as well.  I will send it to anyone that needs it.  I won't be able to be online again until sometime tomorrow, so just message me, and I will check it again tomorrow.

Jimmy is still looking for a job...the new resort doesn't open until Jan, so he is still waiting for that.  We are going job hunting as soon as we leave the library..keep your fingers crossed.

Hope things are well with everyone.  Take care, and talk to you all soon!
God Bless each of you!

Morning Julia and everyone,

Glad to hear you had a nice Thanksgiving.  We went to friends house and had a real nice day.   We got to the outlet mall at 9:30 Thursday night to get a good parking spot.  Some of the stores opened at 10 and the rest at midnight.  We had a blast and got some good buys too.

Tonight I have my last chiropractor appointment for awhile.  I'm having the spinal injection done tomorrow afternoon and they want me to lay off the chiropractor for a couple weeks to make sure the injection works.  I sure hope so because I can hardly get up and down anymore.

Scott came over Saturday and helped us move furniture and decorate so we're ready for the Ornament Exchange.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.
