Hello everyone I'm home.  I guess everything went well.  I feel alot better today than yesterday.  Hoping its all down hill from here.  What a experience this has been, guess it's to late to change my mind now. (oh well) I hope I don't regret this.

The only thing you'll regret is that you didn't do it a long time ago! I know you feel crappy now, but DO WHAT YOUR SURGEON AND NUTRITIONIST SAYS and let that pouch heal. You will feel better soon, I promise!

Glad you're home!

Shelia, congrats and welcome to the loser's bench.  First and foremost.... Attitude.... Keep it positive and you will do great.    Do exactly what they tell ya and you will be fine.  In the next 6 weeks your life will change and change some more.  Then you will settle in a bit and get to know your pouch.  You will NOT regret this at all.  Just look forward to how much better you will feel and all the things you will be able to do that you haven't done in a long time.

Hugs and remember we are here for you.

The beginning is havoc on ones emotions and nerves!

I am wishing you the best and please know that soon this will pass and you will begin to enjoy your new journey! I look forward to reading your WOW moments along with all of the accomplishments that you will have along your journey!

It is tough emotionally in the begnning- with losing your friend, food and making your pouch really mad at you for all of the changes! Just take your time, sip, chew, chew chew, sip some more- eventually I promise, it will get better!

Remember how eager you were to begin this journey and know that those rewards are laying ahead of you!

Hey Sheila - glad you're home and doing ok!  And yes, it's too late to change your mind, but why would you want to?

Anyway, hang in there, and do what your doctor and nut tell you to - and let me know how it goes - my surgery is two weeks from Tuesday.

Hugs!!!

Hi Sheila,
So glad you are home & doing well. Remember to walk( it helps pass the aweful gas) sip, chew slowly, and rest! You will see a change in your approach to food, and emotions. You did this to be healthy, and will!!!! Take it a day at a time, & you'll do great!!

Hello Sheila,
I'm glad your back on and everything went good. You won't regret it. Well it might go through you head but you'll work through that. I just got back from the Hospital! I had to have some fluids put back into me. lol! I have to go in tomorrow at 11:30 am And  have a Endoscopy done!
They think the outlet in my pouch has constricted. I haven't been able to eat all weekend or drink much! Only 16oz of water all weekend! But I feel much better now! And after tomorrow I will feel even better. lol!!
But I'm glad your doing good!
