Good morning everyone!

We're up & awake. Well...sorta. I could easily go back to sleep I think! We'll be leaving to head for IU in about an hour or so. I am so glad to be getting that upper GI done today. No. I'm not looking forward to that lovely barium but this test should confirm things so we can get the ball rolling on getting it all fixed.

After the upper GI, I'm going to call Hope & Peter and see if they are up to company. I haven't heard an update since Wed. night so they could had sent him home yesterday.

I hope you all have a good day today.....

Hello folks, Just a short note. I'm not feeling very well. I stayed home from work yesterday, and took Maggie and me to the doctor, since she was running a fever too. We both have strep throat. Ugh.

Secret elf, I wanted to let you know, I got your package yesterday. I haven't opened it yet, becuase I was too sick last night. Tired, achy and in bed. I will open it today, but just wanted to let you know it got here.

Good Morning all!  I am up and at 'em.  I have a few errands to run today but mostly my favorite chore... LAUNDRY!  Yeah!!!!  I don't have a lot planned other than look for a job.  I am gonna alter some clothes that were handed down to me from Brandi since she is about 8 inches taller than me.

I'm also gonna research some recipes for thanksgiving at my sisters.  Then I also want to find some for the Thanksgiving we are gonna have when my Chaz gets home from Iraq next week.  I promised him we would not have Thanksgiving at home without him.  He should be stateside in 8 days!

I hope you all have a wonderful day.  Keep Hope and Peter in your prayers.

Tracy! You sew?

I have an idea for you...could at least make you some Christmas money. Last summer my sister and I decided we were going to sell some stuff on eBay. She's a really good seamstress. Something I noticed that sold very well were matching little girls and 18" doll (like American Girl) outfits. We bought the patterns and some fabric...I cut them out, she sewed them. They sold VERY well. We usually had about $6.00 in both outfits, and I usually got $20-25 out of them.

Well, my sister started quilting classes and just didn't have time to do it any more. I can't sew very well, but even if I could, I don't have time to do it. I still have both patterns, two doll outfits already cut out and ready to sew, and some extra fabric. If this is something you're interested in, I'll send all this stuff you with my compliments. I don't want anything for it, it's never gonna be used. I'll even send you the doll I used to put the little jumpers on for pictures.

If you are interested, let me know and I'll get it out to you tomorrow.

Hello Indiana!

I slept in today.  My dogs didn't wake me.  It was like an early Christmas present.  But then when I let them out they ran off.  Damn dogs.  I think I need that dog whisperer guy.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone struggling right now. Happy to hear about soldiers coming home!

I am in a funk.  I think the infection I had in my lymph node has moved to my EYE.  LUPUS is SO FUN!  But I know that I am blessed to just have little issues.

I have nothing planned today.  I NEED to exercise.  I've noticed that treadmill is not going to work itself.  GRRR!

I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!  Good luck with all the job hunting, GI's and projects everyone!
