Hope's update on Peter...
Hope did not ask me to share this with the board, but I don't think she would mind that I do. She knows I share the updates she sends with everyone that I can think of who has met her &/or Peter. This time though, I think they both need the love and prayers that our family here has to offer.

This is a very difficult letter to write to you all! With the trouble I have been having with the internet I didn't want to wait to send till tonight, so I am writing in this format instead of the usual attachment. We had a meeting with the Doctors this morning, the whole family was there. Peter's Pneumonia has not improved and is not expected to d/t the Leukemia. He has currently developed some fluid around the outside of his lungs (plurasy - sp?) and is in some pain which they are treating. Any treatment for the Leukemia(Chemo) would certainly end his life and make him uncomfortable at this time, so it was discussed to keep him comfortable. The staff here are making the arrangements for 'end of life' care at home (hospice) and we will meet again on Friday morning to discuss the details. Much will depend on whether or not they will be able to provide blood/platelett transfusions when he needs them. I will certainly keep you up to date on when we will be taking him home. Doctors said a possible 4-6 weeks (at most a slim chance of 3 months) of time with him. I will keep you informed of any changes that may come up. God bless you and your families! Hope and Peter

Sherri and All.
I was going to try and stop on my lunch but as I was walking there my heart was checked. I believe at this time family and clergy can be of more help then me stopping. I have not meet the family and have not been on the board for a long time.
I pray for comfort for all invovlved.

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
