OT: Coming home from Iraq....

My son-in-law will be one of the last to leave at the end of November as well.  We are so excited to have him coming home.  He left 5 weeks after they got married and yesterday was their first anniversary.  Just in case some of you on the board didn't know this.... Indiana has sent the most soldiers of any state to serve in the war on terror.  This state did the largest deployment since World War II this year.  We sent over 3000 soldiers to Iraq on Jan. 2, 2008 from the Hoosier Dome.  I am sure there are hundreds of us on the OH site that have sent a family member over there.  To all of you out there missing your loved one and waiting for their return, you are in my prayers everyday.  To all the military past and present, God bless you and keep you safe.

Being a military wife was difficult for me, but I never sent my husband off to war.  I am so proud of my daughter and the other wives who have held it together back here while the men and women have protected our freedoms and helped iraq to gain more of theirs.
