OT: Coming home from Iraq....
I know how you feel. My son should be home from Iraq by the end of November. He is the commander of a unit over there and he cannot leave till all the guys and equipment are out and the new guys are in place but it should be soon. We were hoping to have him home for a great Thanksgiving but he won't be able to be home that soon but anytime will be a blessing and a time of much thankfulness.
It has been hard, he has a wife and 2 girls ages 5 and 8. It has also been hard for my husband who still has nightmares everyday from Vietnam and with our son being gone it has increased that.
Would love to say I will be so glad when they all get home but realistically don't know if that will ever happen or not.
Tell your nephew THANKS and GOD BLESS

Please thank your son for me when he gets home. Our brave soldiers endure more than most of us would be willing to, and we owe them everything.

Give him a hug and a big THANK YOU from my family for his sacrifice and service. We owe our soldiers everything.

What a wonderful holiday season this will be for your families. I will sure be glad when every soldier makes it home. I have a husband and wife military family who live next door to me, they have two little kids. They have both been to Iraq. Each night when I see them come home in the fatigues I wanna run over there and tell them how greatful I am. I support our troops and pray for them often, along with their families who have to endure the pain of letting them be there.
