Good morning fellow hoosier losers.  I have to go to Walmart in a lil bit for groceries.  I really hate having to spend all that money at the grocery store.  I got a job at McDonalds, I am glad because at least it is here in town.  The only other job offer I had was driving to 86th and Purdue Rd (I live in Martinsville).  Hopefully I will be able to keep up with the young kids and stay on my feet all day.  I start my three days of training tomorrow at 7am so I can learn breakfast and lunch.  I am so anxious to be out of the house and not stuck here day after day.  My son will have to get himself on the school bus, at 14 you would think that would be a breeze but he is our youngest and we have babied him to death, so we shall see.

Sherri I am glad you liked going to Craigs.  I went with hubby yesterday afternoon for his haircut and Ethyl was talking about how adorable the two little boys were that had been in earlier.  I knew who she was talking about, she said their grandma got our name off the internet and she was all confused about how they were on the internet lol.  My hubby always looks ten years younger when he gets a haircut, I told him if it worked like that for me I would start each day with a haircut.

I am sorry for all of us who are struggling this holiday season.  Its nothing new for us we always have 3 slow months a year  Nov, Dec, and Jan when my hubby's work slows down so we have learned how to work around it pretty good.  This year with me working and him quitting smoking it should be easier than it has been in the past.  He always gets an xmas bonus and cashes out vacation time for our holiday money so we don't have that worry.  It just comes late like a day or two before xmas, which I am also very used to.  Last year I went out on black Friday and got all the grandkids stuff but I am sure I will be working this year.  I kind of like going at the last minute, it keeps me from overspending.

Everyone try and keep your head up and stay positive during this trying time.  This too shall pass.  Hugsss and much love to everyone.

Jeannie,

Did you explain to her that you were the one who told me about it on the internet? LOL!!! I told her that I belong to an online group and had asked for advise and that Craig's was recommended. I didn't know your hubby's name (or your last name) so I couldn't tell her who it was. She & Craig were excellent with the boys. We have their business card on the fridge. They'll be getting all of our 'male' business from now on!

Thanks again!

Good Morning all,
I got up and fixed Pancakes for the family. I need to jump in the shower and check out goodwill, then I am off to work at 4:00.
Nothin' else going on around here. terry sealed all the windows yesterday w/ plastic. Man can you ever tell a difference already.

My thoughts are w/ Dawn right now... I hadn't heard that she needed another surgery. I feel for her. I met up w/ her after her last one and her eyes looked so painful. I will give her a call tonight.

Jeannie: Glad you found a job. If I am down there, I will stop and say Hiyah!

Sherri: Bella and I are in for a trim, too. Maybe I will do that today......HMMMM
Gail: I miss you so much sweetie....Hope you are doin' well. I want to meet up w/ you so bad...To see your new BOD! How are you feelin?
Scott: I had to take a second look to see who had started the thread..LOl WHat field are you in? Check out the wanted ads on craigslist. They have somegood ones on there now.

I have been out w/ Tyler filling out apps. No One is really hiring. It's a crappy economy. He just needs like 10-20 hours a week. It would be his first job, though.

Have a great day....shanna

Just a quickie I think..

Sherri - I LOVE Dr G medical examiner and I like to try and guess what happens too, it's always kind of kewl when you know and can figure it out. Very scary that you have BTDT.

Scott, Dawn and everyone else who is needing prayers I'm thinking about you guys..

Things here for me are still minute by minute and I'm not really sure what or how I will be in a couple hours.. When I have my up days it's okay, until the crash and that really bites. I'm just hoping and praying that Dec 11 will get here soon so that I can get my meds in order. :( I can't stand the depression thing and I try hard to use other ways of dealing but I just don't most days. Some days I just try and sleep them off so that I don't have to deal with being awake.

I have broke out with the worst case of acne than I have EVER in my life had and I do not like it. :| Some say it could be stress, others say one of my meds I'm on can cause it, etc.. I don't know but no cleansers or anything are really working and thats a bummer.

Well I guess thats it for me .. Have a good one.

Misty...what is BTDT? I had small bowel inschemia..which my present GI believes was caused by scar tissue pressing down on the intestines & blocked off the blood flow to them. That I know of, my intestines weren't wrapped around the scar tissue like Dr. G's patient.

BTW...I have an upper GI scheduled this coming Friday. It should confirm what Dr. Wittles believe is causing the problems I've had for the last year or so. Finally, an answer! Woo-hoo! I think that is why Bill & I find the shows on Discovery Health so facinating...we've been living the scenerio of doctors not knowing what the heck is causing my symptoms. We can really feel for the patients on there when the doctor tells them that all the tests were 'normal' because 'normal' or not, the symptoms are very real. I'll go into what Dr. Wittles believes AFTER we get the results of that test. But if it confirms it...it will be three tests in a row to all point to the same thing. THAT would be fantastic!

Hahahahaha!!!!!

Am I showing my blonde roots or my covered gray????? I was trying to figure out what the heck disease/surgery/condition BTDT is!!! You know...like IBS, RNY, COPD, PCOS...Hahahaha!!

The only thing that got me really about the Dr. G show was how many times she kept saying over & over how very rare it was to have this happen to your intestines. I really could do without being so gosh darn 'special'! LOL!

Thank you Misty....you gave me a good laugh without trying...

TTFN...

Good Morning to all!!!!  It was so pretty this morning-the beautiful white snow.  I even saw cars covered in it and then it just blew away......  Linda Kay,  were did you go to church with Dr. Sloan???  I thought he was from Ft. Wayne.  I heard that he even prays with his patients before surgery.  I was very impressed at our first meeting, great sense of humor.....Everyone have a very blessed day......Paula C.
