? about incision

 i have an incision that has a lump under it . doesnt hurt but just wondering anyone have this happen. i willbe  three weeks out friday.  16 lbs down last friday i only weigh on friday.

 First ,Congratulation on the weight loss,  If you had your surgery done Lap. then to your question on the lump if there is no warmth and not red in the area.  I have unfortunately  had many surgeries  and it is common for the incision area to have a hard spot for a couple of months sometimes.  But if they start to hurt or get reddish tell you doctor.   

I would call your surgeon's office & talk to his nurse about it. It may just be scar tissue and nothing to worry about but it may also be a hernia developing and if that's the case, you would want it corrected before it has the opportunity to give you problems.
