Does anyone have Dr. Clarke in Indiana?

I am scheduled for my lapband surgery on Dec. 10th.  I have some questions, I don't know if I should have the lapband or Realize band?  Does Dr. Clarke let you decide which surgery you want?  I am supposed to be at the hospital around 11:30 and my surgery is 1:30, will I go home that evening or the next day?  What happens during the prep?  Sorry to ask so many questions...

I had surgery with Dr Clark in August of 2005. There wasn't the choice of the Realize band back then, but seeing how easy going Dr Clark is I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem asking him what band he intends to use and if you have a choice in that opinion. Dr Clark really doesn't have a prep for the band other then liquids the night before surgery. You'll stay over night just incase there are any complications.

Great...thanks....do you wish that you would have gotten the Realize band?

There's a very little difference in them... so NO not really. I'm pretty happy with my band. I lost 167+ lbs in 16 months. 

I had Dr. Clark, but I got the RNY done.  He is a great surgeon though.
