Has anyone used Dr.Turkle in Carmel for Plastics ?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone here has used or knows anything about the Plastic Surgery office of Dr.Janet Turkle in Carmel, Indiana. I am looking into getting a Panniculectomy and I see that she does it for $3500 to $3550. I also noticed on the website that she has many liscenced asthesians (sp) on her staff, so I was wondering if she has a private surgery center and does the surgeries there, or if they use the hospital.
I emailed them for more information, but have not gotten anything back yet.
I would love to hear from anyone with information on this and also what your opinion of Dr. Turkle and staff are.

Hey April.  Lori Black on the Duodenal switch forum had plastics with Dr. Turkle back in may (I beleive) and she had amazing results!  Her tummy tuck looked excellent!  Here is a link to her profile: Click Here  If I ever get plastics after surgery it would most likely be with Dr. Turkle.  I havn't heard anything but good news about her!

I had a consult with her and I found her to be a snobby b*tch. (Brok..here IS negative about her!). Her prices were at least double as elsewhere. That quoted price is just her fee..NOT the one with the surgery center, etc. And she WILL NOT try to get your insurance to pay for a single dime. I work for Lilly's and Bill & I have a pretty decent household income but I came out of her office feeling like a 2nd class citizen!

I had originally made the appointment there because I had heard wonderful things about Dr. Grassee and Dr. Bergman...who were her partners when I made the appointment. By the time the appointment day got here, they had left Turkles and branched off on their own. I went ahead and kept my appointment. I'm glad I did just so I can hopefully keep others from making the same mistake! I don't care how good surgicall she may or may not be,  her personality sucked!

I did go to Dr. Bergman. I had my plastics 9/07..fully abdoplasty & thigh lift..at about half of what Dr. Turkle had quoted me for her fees alone....AND insurance paid for part of it! Dr. Bergman has been a total god send for me. Several people on here has used her & Dr. Grassee. I believe we could make up a huge fan club! LOL!
