Unjury Protein - My review

I had said I would get back here more often, but I haven't made it until now.  Life seems crazy most days.

The nurse at my support group meetings talks about Unjury, so I bought some.  Fortunately, you can buy a pack at a time, so you don't have to buy a big tub of it and then find out you don't like it.  I got the unflavored, 1 chocolate, and 1 strawberry sorbet.  I made the unflavored with SF Tang.  It was really good.  It did have a funny "chemical" taste but not too bad.  Yesterday, I made the strawberry sorbet.  It was good, too.  Again, had the "chemical" taste, but I can live with it.  So I ended up buying the bigger size of those.  I did buy 1 packet of the vanilla and chicken flavor.  I will let you know how I like them when I try them.

They are 20 grams of protein per package.  You mix it with 8 ounces (or more) of Crystal Lite, water, etc.  You can't use it in anything if the temp is over 130.  I think I will be using this more.  I have been using the New Whey protein bullets, but I have heard that it doesn't absorb into our bodies very well.  So I think I will use Unjury.

I hope you are all doing well.

I got them from the Unjury web site - https://www.unjury.com/ssl/purchasing.php

They are $1.75 per packet plus shipping and handling.  They are out of the chocolate right now.

Unjury is about the only protein supplement I can stand.  I mix mine (unflavored) with milk and SF choc syrup, tastes like a milk shake from White Castle...Yummy.

I will have to try it with milk.  I thought about that.  I do have the chocolate.  I was planning on mixing it with water and having it this morning.  I think I do have the SF choc syrup also.

I mix unflavored Unjury with two packets of milk chocolate flavored Carnation No Sugar Added Instant Breakfast and 16 ounces of 1% milk.  Tastes like chocolate milk.  I've found it mixes best in a shaker-type cup.  Stirring just never mixed it very well.

Dawn - When I poured it into the Tang the first time, I realized how thick it was, so I did put it in a shaker thing and that worked really well.  I will try it with the chocolate Carnation mix.  Thank you.  On a side note, I'm originally from Kokomo.  I still have two sisters that live there.
